The veal saltimboca was a generous serving but the sauce was not much different/creative than a brown gravy. It could have had Kalamata olives and/or mushrooms.

The hostess was very kind and reseated us at a quieter table when we realized we were right by the bar. So helpful. The food was excellent, especially love the different soups each visit. The plating of the vegetable chow mien was wonderful. (I have only ever had it as carry out before and the presentation made it visually appealing and I think tastier. The only reason why the 8 vs. 10 for food was that I am getting bored with the few vegetarian options. Could we have a weekly vegan or vegetarian option among the specials?

Food was excellent, especially the pan seared cod which was one of the best meals I’ve had at Midvale in 18+ years! Our server was great but food took about an hour to come from the kitchen. Noise level made conversation difficult but it’s been noisy since the renovation was completed. My vegetarian guest has limited menu choices.

DISAPPOINTED IN THE WORLD'S BEST GRILED CHEESE SANDWICH. CHEESE FELL OUT OF BREAD. LOW VALUE FOR THE PRICE. SHOULD HAVE KIDS CHOICE FOR LESS THAN HALF PRICE. HORS-D'DURVE WAS DELICIOUS.

Seafood lasagna was REALLY good. A nice change from the usual fare. Time for food to get to the table was a bit longer than usual, but Mari was wonderful as usual. When there was an accidental water spill, the staff helped us do a super fast tablecloth switch, since our food was ready to be served moments after the spill.

We were waiting a long time for our food - it was hot when it arrived, but it was definitely a sloooow serve, which we weren’t counting on that night. We actually were tired of sitting there so long. Mari was attentive and awesome, as usual, it was just that the kitchen couldn’t keep up. We also were shocked to see the doubling of the price of chocolate milk vs regular milk. We thought that was a bit too much for the chocolate syrup added in.
