Well, my reservation I made online was not received. The staff was friendly and helpful and seated us anyway. The food was good and reasonably priced. I do prefer table service, but it worked ok to order at the counter. It is a fun little pub, and we will probably be back, although it was hard to hear the singers who were located back in a small recessed area.

Allies is my favorite place to be! The food and drinks are outstanding. The ambiance is warm and relaxing. Steve, Allison, Justin and Emma as well as the entire staff treat you like family. There are so many things to do- music, painting, plant events, tea tasting and more. No better way to spend a couple of hours then to sit on the patio, sip on an amazing ale and listen to local performers.

Allies is my all time favorite place! The food is amazing and the beer is outstanding. The staff makes you feel right at home. The ambiance is the best in Butte County. It is decorated like an English pub and is always clean and well maintained. I can’t think of a better place to spend a couple of hours hanging out with family or friends. There is always something interesting going on- live music, Paint and Sip, special teas, etc. I recommend it to everyone.

This was the 4th time I dined there. The first three times, everything was very good, including the food. For all four visits, I ordered the same meal- chicken meat pie. This time, the chicken meat pie was awful! Actually, it had very little ingredients. The chicken meat was bad. The pieces were tough. It almost seemed like this was the last pie assembled and that the ingredients we’re running out but the pie was made anyway. I will go back to Allies one more time. However, if I get the same quality pie, I will not go back anymore, Thanks for your interest.

Allies Pub is acknowledged to be one of the best places to go for a very pleasant hour or two while enjoying some of the best beer and food in the greater Chico area. The ambiance is off the charts and the hospitality offered by the owners and staff is second to none in our area. Ability to Edit the reservation or at least stipulate that you have to email to change aspects of the reservation (I changed from four to two persons and it took me a long time - tried calling but no answer.). Offer one or two non British beers on tap. A few Sierra Nevada most popular beers would work. I just don’t happen to like British style beer. Love your pub.

We had an excellent dinner at The Allies Pub. I was so looking forward to trying this restaurant and the food, service and atmosphere did not disappoint. We will definitely go back again.

I chose to celebrate my birthday at Allies, and boy was it a good decision! The food was fantastic, the staff were super friendly, and they did the sweetest thing: made me a card. The whole staff signed it. It was their alternative to singing. I will treasure it always!

I know this may sound silly but the Branston Pickle on the Bits & Bobs is the star of the show however, we only has about a teaspoon of it on our entire plate of bits and bobs. I don't want a plate full of bread & cheese with only a teaspoon (at most) of the Branston Pickle plopped on top.
