Ah-Maze-Ing Dessert Spot!

For me, this is the only place to "dessert" in San Diego. The owner is a genius with everything sweet - love the ambiance, teas, coffees, espressos, brownies, cookies, citron presse drinks...I only wish they were in every neighborhood in San Diego...

a gem

I had the Tropical fruit-filled Meringue Shell and to drink the Moscato D'Asti (2003, Italy). The shell's plating had several sauces and edible flower petals!

Simply the best

Anything in this restaurant is worth the calories. It's a beautiful and serene setting filled with divine treats. Service is great too.

Truly extraordinary desserts!

I try a new dessert every time I visit the resturant. I have yet to be dissapointed. The desserts, especially the cakes, are made to please even the most sophisticated tastebuds. The owner, Karen Krasne, has trained in the finest pastry shops in Paris - and it shows.

take a date!

The line out the door is enough to know you've hit the sugar jackpot. The desserts are very imaginative and exotic. Something for everyone, I loved the fruit tart with custard... simply, fresh and divine. Perfect for an after dinner and very romantic setting on the patio.

YUM, YUM, YUM

Worth the trip there. VERY special desserts.

Excellent

I loved this place. I ordered a cake for a large dinner party and everyone loved it! They couldn't get enought. Not only was it tasty but it was beautifuly decorated. Definately a feast for the eyes and the mouth.

My Phone Conversation

I called the restaurant to get information about it, and the lady who answered was curt and impatient with my questions, answering me with one word responses. If this is any indication of the attitudes of other employees, I don't think that I'll even bother.
