Please call us directly at 941-600-8700 between 4 pm and 9 pm, seven days a week, for reservations involving groups larger than 6.
Unfortunately, we have had large groups simply not show up without cancellation, and we therefore no longer accept groups of more than 6 without a credit card guarantee.
If you are unable to keep your reservation and you fail to cancel before 5 pm on the day of your reservation, your credit card will be charged $30 per person.

Beautiful restaurant, great service and fabulous food. I am not vegan but I found the food very creative and excellent. Due to an error the restaurant accepted my reservation for noon when they were not open for lunch for a couple of weeks. Notwithstanding, rather than cancel the reservation they opened the restaurant to serve me and my guest and one other group of 4. I look forward to returning. A delightful experience

I love the emphasis on whole food plant based menu items. The lion tail mushroom crab cakes were excellent. I would have liked to order a vegetable side or a dark leafy green salad. I might suggest dimming the lighting during the early summer evenings. Overall though, an excellent meal.

From the time you enter, the warmth is evident in the decor and in the welcome from the staff. Menu is diverse and the food is delicious. My first attempt at a vegan menu, but plenty available for my picky palate. Desserts are out of this world, pricing fair for the ample portions and the obvious freshness of the dish. Ka Papa creates spectacular & fresh gourmet vegan food bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. We loved every bite of every course! The brie is unbelievable - creamy, rich, full of flavor and ohhhhh so delicious!! It's a MUST TRY! The ambiance was warm, friendly and romantic. The service was also outstanding - our waitress was very personable as well as helpful with our choices. Her balance between checking on us vs. leaving us alone was exemplary. The pace of bringing out the food was perfect. Overall a definite 10 out of 10!

I took my husband to Ka Papa for his birthday. It was the first time we were at this restaurant and our tastebuds had quite the party! The butternut squash soup was fabulous. He had the mushroom pesto and I had the eggplant with miso sauce and we both felt like we won the lottery! Lynn was an exceptional waiter. We will most definitely be back!

It was outstanding. All three of us loved it -- the only slight damper was there was only one person waiting the tables and as it got more and more busy, they really struggled to keep up with the demand. Everything was excellent for the Thanksgiving dinner. My wife really appreciated the gluten free options. I think our favorite dish was the beautiful butternut soup. One tiny criticism, we would have liked more Brussels sprouts in the Brussels sprouts side dish. Thank you for a fine meal!

Wow, what an amazing place! I was recently placed on a very strict heart-healthy diet (think vegan, no oil or nuts) and my wife is gluten free and has other food allergies. I was so excited when a fried recommended KaPapa. I emailed and Kim the owner (and I found out later the chef) responded personally to my email and was happy to accommodate our restrictions. After some delicious edamame, she tweaked a couple of the entrees and they were absolutely fabulous! I was hungry, and went for desert as well which was awesome. The food had complex, deep flavors that all worked well together. Our server Shane knew the menu (and made it point to let us know they were expecting us) and had some menu options in mind ….he was responsive without being overbearing and quite pleasant. The interior is well-appointed and clean, the restrooms immaculate and the ambience is perfect. I can’t recommend Ka Papa enough! We will certainly be back!!

Discovered this place a few weeks ago with friends and it was incredible. We live 45 minutes away so it is not a place we would go to every week. However we went back yesterday with the in-laws and once again they were fantastic. We are very high maintenance as not only are we plant based vegans we are no oil, no nuts, no fats. they have worked with us both times and the food was incredible. Grace our serer was over the top with great, attentive service. Kim and her Mom (co-owners) are extremely nice people who cook great food. A must place to go if you are vegan. I you have special needs like ourselves just make your requests when you make the reservations. Absolutely the best dinners in Sarasota!

This is becoming a favorite restaurant for us. It feels homey and elegant and welcoming all at the same time, it's a pleasure to walk into this lovely restaurant. The waitress is darling, the food is brilliant, very creative and delicious. I love it.
