The setting is rural and country. A resident kitty meets you on the walkway so remember to bring something out for her! The wait staff are friendly and try to be as attentive as possible given the huge influx of people starting at 5 pm. The desserts are excellent and the food is usually good. I have one major complaint and that is that the chef does not understand steak temperatures. At $29 a steak this is something important. I ordered medium rare and got close to well done. This was a major disappointment. I over 60 years old and have never sent a meal back in my life. I usually just tolerate whatever I get. But the steak was way over cooked and tough, so I did have to ask for another one. They gladly cooked another steak for me but by the time I got it my party was almost finished eating, so the chef’s error ruined what could have been a nice dining experience with family and friends. We were only a party of four, so it’s not like there was too much to manage on our order. All of this being said, I would go back. Next time I will order rare anticipating an overcooked steak.
