I always liked visiting omote raffles city to get my fix of sashimi and it has never failed to disappoint. However, this time my partner had the kurobuta kakuni don. Great taste but would like to suggest to have a review of the meat chosen as the proportion of fat to meat was about 80% per slice of pork belly. This made it unbearably hard to stomach due to the oiliness of the entire dish and he only managed to eat 1 of 3 slices of the belly. Overall, i will still visit again but will stick to the chirashi bowls.

full priority were given to customer with reservation and its very unfair for walk-in customers. service crew only attend to customer with reservation and clear their queue fully before even attending to walk-ins. there was a long queue of reservation line and it took very long to clear. i believe it should at least be alternate, maybe 2 reservation : 1 walk-in

Ala carte bowl of white rice became hardened after 10min. Mentaiko Gyoza skin became hard after 10min. Beef cubes i ordered was unbearable. Full of tendons and unable to chew let alone swallow. Every cube i took was unforgiving that i gave up and left half the dish untouched. Even after feedback at cashier i still didnt feel understood. Will not be returning despite being there during your opening days. (I still remember receiving a free mascot soyu bottle from you.)

Loved Omote. Everything is excellent except the booking system. To restrict to 11.30 then 12 then 1 is pretty limited n one has to rush down. Give the option of 1230pm for those lunch goers whose lunch hours are at 12pm to make it down too! Likewise dinner hours can b more flexible w another 630pm n 730 pm option

The waitress will delete the items on the order each time the food is delivered. However, in my last visit, one of your staff cancelled one item on the order slip without sending us the food. We waited for awhile and wondered why it takes so long for the food. We approached one of your staff and explained our situation. She went back to the kitchen and came back with our order which was left cold. I hope you can improve on your service.

Disappointing service. We arrived early only to be told we had to wait till 11:30 sharp even as wait staff stood around and the hostess came to tell us the time “it’s 11:26”. I suggested she could seat us first but she rejected the suggestion - leaving customers standing outside. And wait staff standing inside, doing nothing and staring at us. Service aside, hygiene was also questionable. The waitress who served us our food had her thumb in the bowl. V cute restaurant but there are many other cute restaurants in Singapore and I’d be happy to go elsewhere with better service and stricter hygiene standards.

I like the fact that you have opened another outlet at Novena to disseminate the crowd, so I am not so hurried to finish my food this time. The wait staff are also better paced with their service.

I have been eating Omote since it was a small restaurant Sushiro at level 1 Thomson Plaza. I must say that the standard differs quite abit across restaurant. From a food quality perspective, I perfer Novena followed by Upper Thomson. What I had yesterday which was the Omote Chirashi frankly didnt really sastify and hit the spot

We requested for hot water only so that one of us who has medical conditions can drink their own tea sachet for better ease during a gathering- other than hot water there wasn't any other beverage that is doctor approved. Server was unable to provide help in brewing tea sachet, was also unable to serve hot water, only warm water was allowed.
Restaurants have understandable policy such as "no outside food", but when it is strict to the point where it takes away comfort, and conceived as senseless, then there is definitely no incentive to be back to a place like this.
Food was ok, nothing to shout about. Pictures looked better.

The food we ordered was good but was shocked when saw a bowl of unagi (cook food) was put together with raw food - salmon sashim to another table. By putting cooked and raw food in the same plate may caused food poisoning. Hope they can look into this seriously.

Very limited menu currently, would love to see the Spicy Dashi Chirashi on the Raffles City menu.
We still had a nice time, the biggest issue related to the waitress who messed up the order and then asked us to sort it out. This is not what we were expecting given the issue related to her ability to capture the order correctly in the first place.
I know it is early days and I hope that things get better, we won't be returning for a while (but will continue to visit the original branch instead)

Air conditioning was very weak and I was perspiring throughout my meal. Understandably it is not the restaurant’s fault but hopefully you can provide feedback through the proper channel as it affected the overall dining experience and restaurant’s appeal.

The food menu is very limited than Thomson branch. Sashimi is not as fresh as Thomson branch. Everything about food is not the same standard as Thomson branch. Disappointed!

The table cloth seemed to smell a bit when the waitress cleaned my table. Reckon the cloth needs deeper rinse. There were a couple of tiny black flies flying around. Otherwise, food & service are superb. Thank you.
