The oysters were small , salmon sashimi was thinly sliced. Noted it was a happy hour promotion but if the restaurant wanted to have such promo, they should be generous enough to offer the alacarte portion (or is this the usual portion)? Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

I was frankly a little disappointed.
It was supposed to be a nice farewell dinner treat for my work team and I had chosen Tanuki Raw as I had a good experience at another outlet previously.
This time round, it fell short of expectations and I was embarrassed. The oysters were not fresh at all and there were a few that were bad.
Positively the service staff assisted in replacing it, although I must say the ones replaced were not too fresh either.
I think Tanuki Raw can do a lot better.

Just an issue with covid rules. I would appreciate if the booking system can put a warning saying only one person can book per table per session. Was booking for another company team and has caused confusion and disappointment as I am only the booker and attendee for a table, whereas the other table is booked as courtesy due to same company. Canceled in the end and did a walk-in for my company team. My boss is not really particular with the hassle, so all is good.
Anyways, food is not bad. Not affordable, but I feel the quality is there.
A nice place to chill and hang out with my friends.
Appreciate the staff compliment drink due to confusion as well. Hope that the booking system is clear so that expectations can be managed better.

Reservation was hassle-free and the restaurant was quite empty and quiet which makes the whole experience pleasant. The staff present were helpful and courteous. Food is delicious and beautifully served. Price for the food was reasonable for the quality and portion. However, the alcoholic beverages are quite overpriced and expensive.

I changed out the rice for salad for the garlic butter chicken donburi. It was too salty for me. Perhaps a tad too much dressing on the salad since there was already teriyaki sauce on the chicken as well. Overall the chicken was done well.

The truffle foie gras beef bowl taste bad. Rice was too sour, and the beef was tasteless and stinks. We sat for only 20min, the waitress keep coming over to try to clear my friend's plate for more than 4 times when her rice was only halfway eaten. We booked the place for 1.5hrs. The food was expensive too, will not recommend.

I booked the restaurant exactly 1month before coming (visit date 24 dec) and I specifically stated that it was for a birthday celebration. Your booking opens 30days before the date so I believe I’m one of the first few to make the reservation for 24 Dec. When i reached we were told to seat outside right by the escalator as though we were last min walk in customers, when other walk in customer were given a seat inside. Totally ruined the mood of celebration given that the restaurant was so popular. Food is fresh and drinks are nice. But honestly doesn’t make up for the awkwardness of being seated outside the restaurant for a special occasion.

I went there because I have $500 eCapita vouchers to use but in the end I had to out of pocket because they have yet to be able to receive the vouchers as payment. Almost zilch ambience if you asked me. Food was good but the wagyu was so thinly sliced as compared to before (ate at OC). Also, we ordered two bowls of wagyu truffles don but the foie gras were of different size (one huge and the other one very much smaller). The app order needs improvement. It does not have a feature whereby diners can know what they ordered.
