The experience was one of a kind. The 5 course meal was extremely satisfying….. in all of our years of having waiters and waitresses, we have never had as good as this night in Sint Maarten. Jenel was above and beyond…… she made sure to know our names (4) and addressed us at every point she could. She was very polite, kind and always brought a smile and sweet little giggle that caught our attention. She had never heard of a Spanish coffee so spoke to her boss and made it herself. She was truly THE BEST…. I wish she could work for me back in Canada……

The experience was poor on our behalf. We were treated like criminals from the moment we entered the reception. The receptionist barely wanted to do her job and was rolling her eyes at us. We were looking forward to eating at Azul but we regret having that as our last night experience. You should not allow bookings for guests that aren’t staying at your hotel if the staff are not willing to treat them nicely. Our waiters were incredible and the food was good but not for the price per customer.

I have to say, that this dinner was one of the highlights of our trip to St Maarten. Allowing outside guests to experience the restaurant of this all-inclusive resort is a great idea, allowing visitors from other locations to experience what Sonesta has to offer. From the personal care of the cart ride from Sonesta to the personalized walk through the grounds and into the restaurant was a great experience. Our waitress was amazing and funny. The fixed price menu (different each night) had lots of choices, was very reasonable and included up to 3 drinks. The food was plentiful, the quality excellent, and overall ambience gave you a premium experience. We travel a lot, and have fine dining expectations...and Azul certainly delivered. Well done!

First of all, what a beautiful setting and dining environment. Salads were tasty, my chicken entrée was very good and uniquely prepared. My wife's steak was just okay. Desserts were delicious and wait staff were friendly and attentive, just what you want. We thought it was a good value overall.
