Podshavers Restaurant is perfectly located at the foot of the Quantock Hills close to Taunton.
Podshavers is an old cattle milking barn tastefully designed and converted to create a stunning restaurant venue.
The outside courtyard and Second Eleven bar have also been designed to create a unigue outside drinking and alfresco dining space retaining many of the original features.

No improvements needed! We had the most delicious meal at The Barn (Podshavers) on Friday. Located in such a beautiful setting, with a stunning, cosy, interior.
We were greeted at the door by very friendly, attentive staff. We didn’t need to ask for anything…everything was well thought of…bottle of water at the table, regular service to replenish drinks, well timed service of each course. The food was piping hot and well presented.
Lovely, varied menu choice….each dish sounded equally delicious, making it hard to decide what to have!
We thoroughly enjoyed each course of our meal, would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning in the near future.

Lovely setting and amazing food. The staff were professional and very friendly. Best steak and chips ever, and the other courses were perfect too. Loved the hand wash area!

We visited the Barn to celebrate 2 birthdays. We were made very welcome and the whole evening was excellent. The birthday girls both received a little gift, which added a final touch to a wonderful evening. We will definitely return and recommend it to friends. Thank you to all concerned.

Fabulous food, very friendly staff. Tables spaced out nicely. Only minor comment, for new food on the menu , would be nice if the staff had tried them so they knew what they were . Did not spoil what was a really lovely evening. Will definitely be going back!
