Hope Nature Centre Cafe

We were very disappointed how wheelchair unfriendly it is. We had to park a long way away from the cafe as there was no disabled parking spots free, there is a lot of parking there, so I am not sure why there is so little disabled parking, we had to push the wheelchair over rough grass and my relative nearly fell out the chair because it was so bumpy. We were also so disappointed that we could not sit outside on a sunny day, none of your outside seating is wheelchair accessible, all the outdoor benches are like pub benches with no facility to push the wheelchair close to the table with room for the wheelchair user to put their legs under the table. We will probably not go there again and we will not recommend it to anyone we know who is disabled and cant get out of there wheelchair, its such a shame as what could have been a lovely outing turned into a stressful and disappointing one!
