Myself and 5 friends visited the Mine for a birthday celebration.. The food was fabulous the service was fabulous with a special mention to Nia.. It would have been an absolutely perfect night but the only thing that slightly let it down was that it felt very cold in there but it didn't spoil our enjoyment at the end of the day and will definitely be retuning...

We booked on a rather busy day as the new beer garden had opened 5:30 that evening and our table was booked for 6:30 so the service we received was rather good considering how busy it was there. Overall it our evening was enjoyable, the food was amazing! Definitely recommended and would definitely be returning in the future

We have been to cwmgrach restaurant which we loved so tried merthyr. The menu is just everything I love to eat, I am such a fuzzy eater but loved so much on there. Service was brilliant and food came quickly even though the restaurant was full. Very impressed with the size of our meals as we both eat alot. Can't wait to try desserts next time but was too full.

I've seen a lot of bad reviews about this place but me and my wife thought the food was amazing,we've been to the one in cwmgwrach so thought we'd try the Merthyr one out, we wasn't disappointed,I had the salt and pepper chilli chicken and the mint aero Sunday for dessert and my wife had the steak fries and waffles for dessert,we both really couldn't fault it,the service was good,will definitely be going back

Fab night staff amazing even got us on the karaoke fab food so much of it we had to ask for a take away box definitely be visiting again soon… only down side I couldn’t tip because was cash only if added to the bill the staff don’t receive it and I never took cash sorry for this …

I waited a long time for the Mine experience, you did not disappoint. The service was super, the surroundings was perfect, eating of a shovel was a truly novel way of dinning. Staff were knowledgeable and did again not disappoint with their recommendation when I could not make up my mind. Excellent experience. Lovely meals and amazing desserts. Staff very helpful. Disappointed the deposit was taken out before the day when most restaurants just store your details and only charge if you don't turn up.

Friendly staff, delicious food. Was also great to see the restaurant provide little takeaway boxes so that customers could take their leftovers home with them instead of goin to waste.
