Food was lovely, money well spent! We booked on a rather busy day as the new beer garden had opened 5:30 that evening and our table was booked for 6:30 so the service we received was rather good considering how busy it was there. Overall it our evening was enjoyable, the food was amazing! Definitely recommended and would definitely be returning in the future

Food was really good but I had the 'upside down nan bread with chicken tikka' and it was far too much food for one person. I was there with friends the previous week and had the pasta which was also very good and a more moderate portion so I could manage the dessert.

We have been to cwmgrach restaurant which we loved so tried merthyr. The menu is just everything I love to eat, I am such a fuzzy eater but loved so much on there.
Service was brilliant and food came quickly even though the restaurant was full. Very impressed with the size of our meals as we both eat alot.
Can't wait to try desserts next time but was too full.

I've seen a lot of bad reviews about this place but me and my wife thought the food was amazing,we've been to the one in cwmgwrach so thought we'd try the Merthyr one out, we wasn't disappointed,I had the salt and pepper chilli chicken and the mint aero Sunday for dessert and my wife had the steak fries and waffles for dessert,we both really couldn't fault it,the service was good,will definitely be going back

Huge portions but girls were more than happy to provide takeaway box.
Burger was probably one of the tastiest burgers I’ve ever had.
On arrival 3 my embers of staff seen that we had walked in didn’t acknowledge us, a “he with you in a minute “ would have been sufficient as it made me feel awkward because I’d never been before and didn’t know what the drill was we were kinda of left hovering.

One of the nicest restaurants I’ve been too! The service was just as good as the food and that was delicious. Good value for money would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come again! Exceeded my expectations, food was excellent, service was outstanding, our waitress was lovely (sorry didn't get her name, pretty girl with long dark hair and wore glasses) the bench was a little uncomfortable on the back but it didn't spoil our meal. Will definitely go back

I visited The Mine at CF47 & Castelany's for my birthday and it was amazing, food was delicious, staff were very professional and friendly, the cheesecake was the best my partner had ever tasted! Will definitely be coming back again!
