Staff were absolutely brilliant, friendly, efficient and made us very welcome, above and beyond with helping with my 84 year old dad, thank you Mick, would absolutely recommend a visit. Dinner and breakfast was lovely, fast delivery and such good customer service!! Rooms spotless and comfortable!!

We absolutely loved the nights we were here. We can not complain about anything. Hospitality, service was exceptional. Everything from parking, having our room nice and cozy, all wait staff to the owner Mr. Mike we above to make sure our stay was a great one and it was. Thank you again mike. We really enjoyed our meal. We were at our table for 3 hours and the food was excellent. It was a cold evening but the open fire added to the atmosphere. We felt that the value for money was superb and we expect to return. The drinks prices were very competitive and there was a decent range of malts if that's your thing.

Food is fantastic, beautiful. Service we had was excellent. Ambience, in the bar by the fire was wonderful. Prices are on the high side but when the food arrives it seems ok. However, the breakfasts at £17.95 per person are extortionate ! Breakfast for two at £36 ? a ripoff. !! There should be a lighter alternative. Not everyone wants a full Scottish in the morning. I Suggest a porridge, toast and tea alternative.

One of the finest restaurants we have visited, everything from service to food could not be improved. The only comment I can made is that we wish we lived closer to the Inn at Lathones to allow us to visit on a restaurant only basis, an example is we have a family Birthday coming up shortly and only the distance stops us from booking the restaurant for a celebration meal.

We had a wonderful meal @ The Inn at Lathones. Fantastic service from the friendly staff and a great choice from the menu. We had our meal on Friday in the bar which was nice and cosy with both wood burners on. We can't fault the quality of food we had, Karen's lasagna was the best she ever had, high praise indeed. The staff were not overly intrusive when we were eating but made sure we always had a drink when required, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely recommend the Inn at Lathones, and will be happy to stay again if we are in the area again. Thank you for making our stay special.

We dined at The Inn at Lathones every night of our stay. The food is absolutely fabulous and everything was perfect. My husband raved about his meals and as a coeliac I highly recommend their GF menu too. All of our evening meals and also our breakfasts were perfect - Quality and quantity. On one morning, the bacon in my full Scottish breakfast was rather cold and hard. Also, some waiter/waitresses ( not Lorna, who was absolutely excellent) removed an empty plate from our table while the other diner was still eating. This should never happen. Makes the guests feel as though they are being rushed!

A lovely restaurant. Decor is a little dated or can be considered ‘quaint’. Service was a little slow in the evening but they were very busy, did apologise and kept us updated. The staff remained relaxed and it was pleasant enough to sit and wait. I don’t think anyone was in a rush anyway. The food was of a very high standard. The dishes were not too adventurous but obviously quality ingredients, perfectly prepared and cooked with good sized portions. The accompanying salads and vegetables were excellent too. Breakfast was served at the table. Service was quick. A good number of choices and again well cooked using the best ingredients.

We thoroughly enjoyred our first visit to Inn at Lathones. Jack and his colleague looked after as very well in the bar diner. The food and service were faultless. Our only suggestion for improvement is that the exterior and surroundings of the building are in need of some modernisation and freshening up.

Couldn’t really fault anything as can be seen above with ratings. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Attentive but not over the top. Food great. Lots of choice and food lovely and hot. Portion sizes good. Being a little fussy with one less star for overall experience as there was no coke as a mixer for my husbands drink but as I said just a very small suggestion. Really couldn’t fault anything.

Amazing could not fault anything. We are staying here for 3 nights and it's very relaxed and dog friendly. The black truffle tortellini is so delicious we had it two nights in a row!

Beautiful food in a lovely Old Mill restaurant. We ate both nights we stayed in the hotel and the food was excellent. Would totally recommend this restaurant. Staff were excellent, very attentive & polite.
