One of the finest restaurants we have visited, everything from service to food could not be improved. The only comment I can made is that we wish we lived closer to the Inn at Lathones to allow us to visit on a restaurant only basis, an example is we have a family Birthday coming up shortly and only the distance stops us from booking the restaurant for a celebration meal.

We had a wonderful meal @ The Inn at Lathones. Fantastic service from the friendly staff and a great choice from the menu. We had our meal on Friday in the bar which was nice and cosy with both wood burners on. We can't fault the quality of food we had, Karen's lasagna was the best she ever had, high praise indeed. The staff were not overly intrusive when we were eating but made sure we always had a drink when required, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely recommend the Inn at Lathones, and will be happy to stay again if we are in the area again. Thank you for making our stay special.

We dined at The Inn at Lathones every night of our stay. The food is absolutely fabulous and everything was perfect. My husband raved about his meals and as a coeliac I highly recommend their GF menu too. All of our evening meals and also our breakfasts were perfect - Quality and quantity.

Our first impression driving up was a little disappointing as the Inn looked a bit shabby. The room was very clean but a little painting required e.g. round the door and windows, which also needed cleaned. It was a superb shower room. Large and bright. Personal taste I know, but the flooring didn't really match the tiles chosen. We felt the room was functional and lacked a little comfort e.g. occasional chairs to sit on but the beds were very comfortable. The restaurant food was excellent both in flavour and presentation. The chef is to be commended. All other staff were very pleasant and helpful. The 8 for ambience was due entirely to us being the only guests while we had dinner and the points for overall experience were due to our first impressions of the inn and room. We met Michael who we found to be very friendly and he took time out of his busy day to chat with us which we appreciated. Hoping our comments are not considered
negative but helpful as we know times are hard for many businesses at the moment. Thank you.

The choice on the menu was fantastic as was all the food when it came. The waitress was so lovely. I took a couple of points off as I felt very cold. The heating was on but it is such a large area it really made no difference. There was a lovely big log burner but sadly it wasn’t on. The restaurant was very quiet which really didn’t do anything for the ambiance, no ones fault. Would definitely return.

Staying at hotel, so had dinner here. Good choice menu and decent wine list. Prices were what seems normal everywhere these days. Food was cooked to order and was served in a reasonable time. We had the same main course and both agreed that it was tasty, hot and we’ll presented. We shared a sweet and it was a decent size and was as described in the menu. Overall we enjoyed what we had with no complaints.

Very lovely but slightly over attentive staff member. Quite for 7pm on a Thursday night. But lovely food and were able to sit outside with a cosy fire pit to have a few drinks after our meal.

Rooms and water cold initially. We should have been informed hotel utilising different dining room and bar, which in our opinion was not 4 star and was left disappointed, particularly, as this was a birthday treat. Breakfast good but dinner not up to previous standard!

When we arrived we were taken to the dining room but not taken to our table.
The window blinds were closed even though it was broad daylight; this added to the
gloomy atmosphere along with the decor.
The table surface was uneven and too high. A tablecloth would have helped the decor.
On the plus side the food was very good apart from the green vegetables not being cooked enough and almost raw. The portion size was very good and good value.
The menu choice was very good but the wine list could have been more extensive.
There is definite room for improvement.

A very good experience. Very good starter and fillet steak. Dessert lacked subtlety.
