Frequently Asked Questions- Do you have a children's menu?
- We do not have a specific children's menu, however you are able to order half portions for half the price on the main menu. If you do require something different, please let us know at the time of ordering and we will try to accommodate you.
- Are you open on a Monday & Tuesday
- We are open on Mondays and Tuesdays, however we only serve our garden menu, for which there is no need to book.
- Do i need to reserve a table for the Garden Menu
- We do not reserve tables for the Garden menu, please just turn up and find a seat, we have a massive garden.
- Can i order from the Garden Menu in the restaurant
- Children are able to order pizzas or burgers from our garden menu, however as this is coming from a different kitchen we cannot guarantee when it will arrive. We do not reserve seats in the restaurant specifically for the Garden Menu
- Do you do Gluten Free food?
- We have a number of gluten free items on our menu, and many can be adapted. Please let us know at time of booking if you have any food allergies

We went to the bell for the first time for Sunday lunch my husband is celiac he emailed ahead to let them know. The staff could not have been more accommodating he was able to have Yorkshire pudding cauliflower cheese and a beautifully presented feast on a plate. It was excellent value and he was even able to have a crème brûlé nothing to much trouble the staff were great we would highly recommend the bell to friends and family.

What a gem of a place, absolutely 1st rate on every measure. We only found it by luck as it was half way for 2 family groups, it will be glorious in summer with the nice garden and gazebo.

The food was lovely ,it was hot , well presented and out of three “ pubs “ our little group has tried so far this was by far the best .
I was surprised that this little gem of a pub wasn’t busier on a Friday evening … but it was perfect for us Mums to have a good catch up .
Try it , you won’t be disappointed !

We had a lovely time at The Bell the staff and food were very nice , probably Mother’s Day was not the best time to go for the first time as I said the food was great but we felt a little rushed and as there was only two of us next to a table of 10 I think it was a little noisy but we will definitely be trying The Bell again , thank you to the staff you were great

We could not fault the food, it was all good quality, well cooked and presented, and very tasty. Just one small thing, the black pudding in the risotto isn’t really necessary as it was quite a strong flavour and a little overpowering. Service was friendly and efficient, but not over the top. Ambiance in the dining area could perhaps be improved with more interesting tableware and lighting, and the tables are very close together. The couple on the table right next to us were talking loudly on their mobile phone for the first half hour, which spoilt the start of our meal. Value on the whole was good although the desserts were a little overpriced at £8 /£9 each.

Had set lunch menu
Starters v nice
Main course of chicken fries and garlic butter was ruined by putting all on one plate. Chips were awash with garlic butter. Solved by fries in a basket and garlic butter in a ramakin. Let the customer choose!
