Myself and Dad came on this day with my Aunty and we had a lovely Sunday dinner.
Myself and my Dad enjoy coming back to this pub every now and again because the food is amazing amd the staff are kind, lovely and very warm welcoming . We have come to get to know Sarah and she is lovely and always makes time to say hello and check on us both to see if we're alright etc.

The only thing that spoilt our visit was the attitude of the staff! We had booked for 10 but unfortunately 12 people attended. When asked if we could move the table for 2 up to the table booked we were advised we could not however 2 people were allowed to sit at the table, this made no sense whatsoever! It was the way in which the staff spoke to us that was the issue, unwilling to accommodate our request which was not unreasonable but then telling us near the end of the visit that we could now move the tables together! Wont be visiting again.

The hunters chicken was very tough, unable to cut had to pull apart and the onion rings were over cooked. I should have complained but I was with my friend who I hadn’t seen for 12 months so didn’t want the evening focused on a bad meal.
