Always great food, atmosphere and lovely staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Jay is an amazing chef, Sharon & Robert on the bar and Reid, front of house will be so sorely missed. The whole team make it a great visit.

Have visited the carvery numerous times food has always been fantastic. We visited on Sunday (7th) Unfortunately we were disappointed on this visit. The meat was lovely but the vegetables were very poor. The roast potatoes were either huge or battered and black in places. They also tasted stale. The sprouts and broccoli again were black in parts and other veg had not been replenished. I will not let this put me off from visiting again as we have never experienced this before. Just hope the next time we visit the veg offering is fresher. We brought my parents with us who had not been before and wanted to try it out after us raving about it. I assured them that this time we had just been unlucky.

Our visit was unfortunately a sombre one. My Father has just been widowed and my mum was a wonderful cook. His favourite meal is a sunday roast so I looked around for a 'surrogate' option. Top Carvey delivered on all levels, so much in fact, he has been back on his own already...

I came to have Sunday lunch with my family. We had a fabulous time and food was great. I would have preferred to have been seated in the bar area rather than the larger room. The server seemed to forget us at times. He did apologise as we left. However we shall return again x

Unfortunately the food was not hot enough, which totally spoiled what could have been a nice carvery. There was a great selection of vegetables. However, although our table was booked for 12:30 there was not much meat available.
I did request a take out, but although I was given a lovely selection of beef and vegetables the sprouts and broccoli were inedible- almost raw!
