After several postponements due to Covid, my friend and I finally had the opportunity to eat at Botica. The restaurant far exceeded ALL our expectations from all aspects! The waitress provided excellent descriptions of the food and we relied on her recommendations. We enjoyed three starters and three main courses with Portuguese wine. The experience was exceptional in every way! Even the chef came out and talked to us about the food, something we greatly appreciated. In short: amazing staff and exceptional food! If you haven't been there yet, I warmly recommend that you do go!

We loved the presentation about the the wines. The selection of wine was a very good match and also very interesting choices. The food was very tasty and well cooked. The ambiance was amazing (the room and the view). Things that can be better is the chairs (not at all comfortable) and the setting of the table (fresh flowers, more candles, cotton napkins, cotton tablecloth etc). We would have enjoyed to hear more about the food from the chef.
