Great service. Unique serving on heated stone. Good food. Wife had salmon on the stone. Took it off when done. I had a ribeye that came blue and seasoned, but cut it up some and cooked as I watched and waited a bit til it was cooked to my liking. Great place. I’d definitely go again.
My family and I were visiting from Guelph and this place came highly recommended, the food was amazing and portions were great. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli with shrimp and it was delicious. Great atmosphere.
The food is always fantastic!! Our waitress “Janelle” was awesome bilingual and just well deserved her tip!!! It’s a really nice place to gather and talk, and very nice and good looking staff very good looking!! Well worth the money and I will definitely go again!! I recommend this restaurant 100% and give it a 5 star!!!

Great service, great food. I ordered the parmesan chicken. The chicken breast was a good portion, cooked perfectly and very delicious. The rice portion was somewhat scant and the beets were very good. Would order it again and would hope to have a larger portion of the rice.
On the reservation I noted “birthday “ I am guessing they don’t acknowledge someone’s birthday . That’s ok everything else was great . Social distancing was appropriate.
Everything was great. I gave the food an 8 as my double baked potato was cool and as a side it was to be broccoli and or beats, or both. Myself and friend asked for both. She got both with peppers. She very much dislikes peppers.
Food was excellent. We had gone before for a special occasion, this time the waitress did not tell us about the specials,we had to ask her if they still existed. Overall very satisfied.
Our server, (unfortunately, I can't remember her name), was excellent. The meat just had a little too much salt and pepper, but we really enjoyed the entire visit :)
Food and service great. As a handicap individual disappointed had to climb the stairs. Also found temp cool upstairs with fans blowing. Wasn't addressed when asked

We took my elderly in-laws to Lot 88 to introduce them to the concept of the stone. 3 out of 4 of us ordered the filet mignon. I cooked mine on the stone and my in-laws had theirs cooked in the kitchen. My steak was outstanding but theirs was barely 3/4" thick, flat and nowhere close to resembling a filet. Atleast I convinced them the stone is the way to go!
-Food of Excellent taste, texture and quality! (Fillet Mignon cooked in kitchen with beets, broccoli and very tasty fries). Other meals were good too, but this was the best. -Greatly appreciated the staff, who were very friendly and provided excellent service despite their having to wear covid masks and safety glasses (generally find wearing masks makes social interaction less personal.) -Appreciated that the bar offered at least one cider (Strongbow, in cans), and hope this continues to be an option. Our waitress courteously informed the table that only two cans were available. I only wanted one anyways, however thought the notice very thoughtful on her part! -We all enjoyed our dinner. Probably my best meal at Lot 88 to date. on the down side, I felt the choice and volume of background music very irritating, and as people arrived for dinner, the ambient noise and activity became uncomfortable. (Possibly just not used to dining out any more!!) -Thank you very much, we will return again!
Disappointed because of the fact that the guests we brought with us was their first time in Lot 88 and the outside of her steak was super charred but she was to reluctant to say anything.
The restaurant was PACKED. it was a little uncomfortable due to Covid. All the tables on the “bar side” were full of patrons. That’s my only complaint
Ladies at front who seated us seemed a bit cold towards us. Not very friendly. But the server made up for it and the delicious food.
I ordered the chicken fettuccine. I found a small bone in the chicken and the asparagus was hard. I didn’t find there was enough garlic for the flavour. However, our waitress was great and the safety precautions were awesome. I would try again, but will be passing on this dish.
I did not get the steak I asked for.I asked and paid for New York Striploin but received Sirloin. We also waited a long time after ordering our desert. I did not mention the steak being wrong to our server cause I wanted to eat at the same time as my wife. The steak was correct on our bill, indicating it being a mix up in the kitchen. Other wise the food including the Sirloin was very good. Our server was also excellent, and obviously quite busy. Still my favourite restaurant. Staff is very welcoming, everyone makes mistakes.
