Lovely place and will definitely be back, I made a mistake and made our booking for the wrong day but they were very accomodating and managed to fit us in. Service was good in general but a little slow towards the end of our meal. Only a small point though, overall it was really enjoyable - the food was great, staff very friendly and a lovely place to have lunch.

Absolutely loved the setting and the service was attentive and polite. Wonderful with so many vegan options, even though they are slightly tastier vegan sausages available. A vegan hot chocolate option would also be lovely! Thank you for such a great experience!

Really good location especially on a nice day on the terrace overlooking lake.Food and drink we’re fine May be a little over-priced particularly as a non-refundable entrance fee is payable to enter the ‘park’ in which The Reverie is located. Service was good with minimal wait

A lovely setting for a meal. We went on a Sunday for lunch and the food was excellent even the vegetarian roast. Service was very good as well. I guess the only issue which will put people off is the admission fee into the park. We had concessions but could have cost an extra £28. But will definitely go back and also want to try their evening menu which there is no entrance fee to pay.

Excellent venue and good food. Service a little slow on the day but that was due to short staff numbers.

Had chicken burger which was rather salty, but still nice, and 2 vegan burgers. V burgers could have been hotter and we felt were probably bought and not homemade? We had visited you for fine dining the previous Saturday and that was exceptionally good. Not sure about having to pay £7 to enter the park but nothing redeemed from food bill though I realise this is not you. Shame can’t bring our dog on a lead ……that would make the charge much more worthwhile for us. Will definitely continue for fine dining though. Have already booked more dates!

My husband had to pay £7 which we didn't expect to visit the location. This should be deducted from the bill if you eat at your restaurant. thanks

Need more choice on menu. My tuna steak was a little under cooked but all was so fresh. What a beautiful place!

I asked the waitress to compliment the Chef on the best fish and chips I had ever had. The lightest batter and non greasy. I usually leave a large portion of batter but not this time. The staff couldn't have been more attentive. Plenty of staff so no one waited long for food. We sat inside at a corner window and the seats were the best ever for two elderly ladies with sore backs! Only downside to our day out was the ridiculous charge to enter and drive to the restaurant. It certainly put a big negative on the whole experience. There needs to be some arrangement for those who are just going for a meal. Neither of us are physically up to a walk up and down hills and steps! £7 per person is beyond ridiculous and certainly won't encourage us back. Sad about that as the restaurant is lovely.

Not sure why there is an entrance fee if you are just going to the restaurant? Makes no sense why you'd pay up to £28 for a family just for the pleasure....... I don't think we will be coming back until this is reviewed. Shame as it is lovely

Lovely location, food and service. Its a shame you have to pay to enter Buckland Park Lake whilst the park is open, surely they receive enough from the margins in the food and drink without needing to charge an admission fee too.

Overall our experience was absolutely fine & we have already recommended you to friends & we would book again. Re the scoring for our visit, firstly the pint of bitter ordered on tap did not taste right most probably because it was the first out the barrel or has been standing too long?!? I enjoyed a fresh tuna salad but my husband had ordered the salt beef sandwich with fries. The beef in the sandwich was definitely not ‘ salt beef’ but roast beef, probably left over from Sunday & unfortunately it was tough as old boots!! ( sorry to say) The only other aspect was the outdoor seating could be made just that bit more comfortable if the seats had some form of seat/back cushions. Staff were very pleasant & gave us excellent service. Hope to visit again soon.

There should be no entrance fee to this restaurant. Plenty of small parks such as this are free.
