Fabulous experience. Wonderful service and the food is exceptional. I only went there 2 weeks ago and will remain a regular. The lunch special is served so sensibly on your own large tray with many tasty morsels. Try it.

Loved our first meal at Masala Kitchen - exceptional flavours, friendly and helpful staff and a buzzy atmosphere. Needed to get to grips with what they consider hot (spicy) and what we considered hot (they erred on the side of caution!) but cannot fault the flavours and food quality. Amazing array of gins on offer - on the pricy side (50% of our overall bill!) but again good quality. Will definitely be back...

The food was sublime, although the mains were a bit on the small side. Food is beautifully presented and the flavours are just wonderful. Everything was well cooked and so fresh. Huge selection of cocktails and they are so well balanced I can honestly say they are the best I've ever had. Staff are awesome, not hanging over you all the time and actually give you a chance to enjoy your meal. They are attentive though and easily available for your needs - quite a few other venues could learn from how well they manage their service. The layout is nice and bright and airy. Enjoyed it so much, will definitely be back and can easily see it becoming a regular.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon at 2:30. The restaurant has only been open a few weeks and there are obviously new team members who are still finding their way. Nonetheless the service was great, food delicious and as we visited at happy hour the drink prices fantastic! Really liked the modern take on an Indian restaurant. Food was excellent. We had a couple of gins but the tonic water was pretty flat which was disappointing. I also think the gins were too big, you couldn’t taste the gin or alcohol as there was so much tonic. Needs a better ratio. We asked to move tables when we arrived as we felt stuck in between two other tables and they were very close. I also don’t get why you would expect to leave dirty starter plates at the table for us to use for the main too. We asked for fresh plates which they gave us. Aside from that it was great and would definitely come back. Just a couple of tweaks needed. Hope that’s useful. Thanks.

The first time I went to Masala Kitchen in Dee Why was on a Sat night and the food was spectacular, the vibe was amazing. The service and food service was slow with not enough staff on for a Sat night but we didn't mind too much as all our friends enjoyed the food and live music. The second time I went back for Sun lunch and the food was tasty. However the dahi puri wasn't as good as the first time I had it, there wasn't a balance of sweet and tangy as there was too much yoghurt and the naan was a little overdone so was crispy. It would also be good if you had traditional Indian desserts on the menu instead of the just the fusion desserts as I just wanted a plain galab jamun. I would go back again!

The staff were just so lovely. Great service could not have been more obliging. The atmosphere has a great feel. It's hard to comment on the food as we are all different in what we like. Dumplings with prawns I found was not an actually prawn but pureed maybe, did not enjoy but the sauce was amazing. The Lamb paneer was fatty in parts. Butter chicken was just ok, sauce could have been much thicker but nice taste and chicken cut better. My Spicy cocktail I drank in two minutes, far too much ice therefore $17 not good value for what I got. Overall the staff 10/10. We will come back and I think you are on a gold mine if you just improve on the food slightly and careful with the cocktails.

The food was absolutely amazing! Beyond our expectations. The service was pretty bad but it’s a new place and they will for sure get into a flow - the manager seems to be very on top of things. Also they’re putting in something to fix the acoustics S it’s very loud and I think a little too bright to be honest. But we will keep Coming back again and again as the food is awesome and we are all about supporting our local businesses.

food was tasty, good atmosphere. Service good, but they were busy. A bit noisy so the wait staff couldn't hear us well and difficult to ask many questions about the menu. Ordered red wine, but they didn't ask which red wine we wanted and just brought a glass, same happened for the second glass, both were different wines.

Ambience rated lower as the lighting is far too bright and the restaurant is very loud, this may have been due to all the doors and windows being closed in cooler nights. The service is good when you are being attended, but drinks are slow to come out and the waiters are rather confused, possibly from being new and not being able to hear you over the noise.

The service was great and the atmosphere was excellent. The food was mostly good but the goan fish was tough and inedible.
