Love the building and the service. The pork chop dinner was good but asparagus was under cooked. The pork chop was tough as it was over cooked but it had a good flavor.
Please lower the volume of your music as we could not hear our guest at other side of table. Your pickled/fried onion was outstanding.

This was our first trip to Tallahassee. We thoroughly enjoyed The Edison. Small things were only a distraction, one quickly resolved by all of the good things there. A knowledgeable, friendly staff that HUSTLES to take care of you. Food was excellent! Beer was cold and tasty. It was a great experience. Hope to go again soon.

It took a very, very long time to get our food, but we realize we were a table of 10 family members and we had a great time visiting so that helped ease the wait. If we had been a small group of 2 or 4 that took that long I would have complained. Our meals were outstandingly good, the weather was perfect, and we had a wonderful time. Everyone in our party loved it, some were there for the first time and said they will be back. Our waiter did a great job.

We recently celebrated my son's graduation at The Edison. We had very attentive service and a beautiful view. The space has a great vibe and we had a comfortable experience. We were recommended to Edison by our local innkeeper and she sure steered us right. We sat outside (still being covid wary). Hostess and servers were all masked, thank you! Our young man server was great, checked on us, made a special request happen easily, and was on top of our service. Outstanding. Food was yummy: Tesla salad with grilled shrimp and scrumptious salmon and Caesar salad. Delish and affordable. Great outdoor ambiance overlooking Cascade Park and the waterfall.

A friend and I had Joe as our server. He was absolutely amazing, witty, and knowledgable about the menu despite him serving at The Edison for a short amount of time. He made sure we were taken care of the entire time, and came to top off our drinks without us asking.
The manager, Andrea, came by to make sure we were having a great time; she was amazing as well! I have been to The Edison several times and this is the best experience I have ever had. Thank you Joe and Andrea! We will most definitely be back!

The food was great, except one plate had side dishes that were completely cold by the time the meals came to the table. The pork chop and the salmon were so incredibly delicious!! However one plate had ICED COLD mashed potatoes and green beans, which was not intolerable, just for the price of the meals, you would expect hot servings!
It was my husbands birthday, and it just happened to be freezing out that night, so we sat indoors. We were seated right next to the back door and people were coming in and out making our table very windy and cold.
The waitress, Cassidy, was attentive and friendly. Overall, we had a good experience and will be back.

The food was delicious. The pasta dish was just warm not hot when it came out but tasted delicious. Initial service was slow. It took probably 10 minutes before our server came to greet us and take our drink orders. We were seated outside but it started to rain. The staff was very accommodating and immediately moved us to a table inside. The food selection was good and the prices very reasonable. I look forward to going back.

Seat under dressed young kids in the bar area. I made an advance reservation and noted the occasion was a birthday. We came up to Tally for a quick overnight to take our college son out to dinner to celebrate and were seated in the bar area, way too crowded and loud. Normally that’s not a problem but wish we had a table where we could have talked to each other. Food was outstanding!

The ambiance was amazing. Great spot right at the park. The drinks were delicious and kept coming. I had a French 75 and it was perfect (though my second one came in a wine glass). The food left something to be desired. The Philly meat was burnt and had little flavor. My chicken was good but the accompanying asparagus was undercooked at best. Even the French fries were soggy. However, the appetizer of buffalo dip was delicious and enjoyed by the table! I would give the restaurant another try simply because of the location but I might just stick to drinks and apps next time.

Hostess was ok, however she was unable to honor our request to sit inside with our party of 4, even though several tables were available. She only offered us outside tables even though we made reservations 30 days in advance. The one table sat empty till about 7:50pm we left at 8pm…This was the first time we’ve had a negative experience at the Edison. Food was great and server was great.

Extremely good service experience, but while it was a busy day the kitchen was either exceptionally understaffed or they have a very bad operational flow because our meals took an 50 mins-hour to come out despite the waiter checking in several times. I've had the same meal delivered to me here within 15 minutes before during times of what I had perceived relatively high occupancy [maybe 70% to what this would be 100%]. Waitstaff may have been low as well; waiter never "left us hanging" but all of the staff were rushing back in forth in a way that negatively impacted the experience. Also, the doors need a quietening doorstop because they slammed constantly as people came in and out, negatively impacting the experience in the small booths. Food was great. All in all, I'm unlikely to come back on a weekend.

We were outside because of Covid so ambience was okay but nothing to brag about...food was good but I asked for a change which they approved by the chef but then didn’t follow through...waiter was good and patient but no where to be found when we needed extra napkins or salt and pepper...or even when we needed the check. Nothing was awful and we weren’t expecting too over the too because of the virus precautions...

It would be great if the servers were more knowledgeable about gluten-free options. We also had one server tell us one thing about a coffee ordered, and another tell us something else, and the person ordering ended up with two coffees and had to pay for them both. The food was great though, and I will be back! Such a beautiful place.

Location is great, nice building design. Food was good. Didn’t like the wine. I tried both Pinot Grigios and neither were good. Service was good. We were very disappointed to discover a 3% credit card fee. We’ve never encountered a restaurant (besides food tricks perhaps) that charge that. Considering we spent a good deal with drinks appetizers, meals and dessert for four. Very disappointed. Also there was no decaf coffee. Again for an upscale restaurant this seems like a no brainer. Not sure we will be back.

Ambience inside great; outside not as nice as expected. Food was very good (except presentation and mushiness of Buffalo Fries) but, for the price, expected nicer. Our server was very helpful to be sure fries were removed from our bill and that we were happy.

I was really excited to go to the Edison last night. Sitting was fine but unfortunately it did take a significant amount of time for us to receive our drinks and appetizers. When I finally receive my food it was a shrimp poboy oppose to a fish poboy. I was definitely disappointed because originally after the bartender/waitress took my order she came back and asked again shrimp or fish and I explained to her that I was allergic to shrimp so fish please. After a while, I finally received my fish sandwhich but my request for extra sauce and ketchup fell on deaf ears. But we did our best to make the best of it.

Due to the temperature, the heaters outside should’ve been on and functioning but they were not. Quality of the food was average. The tables are really worn out and my chair had a broken back rest which I swapped out for another chair from another Table. The location is great, the view from outside is great and we really appreciate that we were able to bring our dog and sit outside.

Food was okay. Drinks were good. I think it’s overpriced for the quality of food if I’m being completely honest. There’s nothing special about the menu. The server had an attitude the entire time. She first got annoyed that someone asked for a side of ketchup/plastic silverware then had an attitude with my coworker when she asked for more mimosa as she was pouring. She responded “Yeah. I will. I need to make sure everyone gets some.” She then tops off already filled glasses to prove a point. She poured so much in everyone else’s that there was a splash at the bottom of the vase by the time she got back to my coworker. She then aggressively pours the splash in my coworkers cup and completely misses, pouring it all over the table. She didn’t say anything. She made it very obvious that she was annoyed. I normally let things go but I had to ask her if she was okay because she kept coming off abrasive and quick with her responses. Her tone changed very quickly. Lots of apologies and thank yous before we left. She was rude and cold the entire time until I said something. I understand groups can be annoying as a server, but you’re getting guaranteed 20% tip from 7 people and it was 10:30 in the morning. It was empty when we arrived. It’s very distasteful that servers have an automatic attitude when they have to serve groups. Be happy you’re getting your bulk tip of the morning from one table instead of 5. I don’t remember her name and if I did I wouldn’t mention it. Times are tough right now. But you are at a job and we weren’t unreasonable. Leave the attitudes and aggression at home.

Brought my parents to the Edison who were visiting out of town. We were pleasantly surprised with how spacious it felt inside and the food and drinks excellent. The service was even better. We were placed next to a loud table with other tables available, which made it difficult to hear, but besides that it was a great experience.

Requested outside and the original table they were going to seat us was right in the path of the door. Another better table was empty in the covered portion of the porch and they would not seat us there. Instead we went to another porch, uncovered, very hot to sit.
