We had a wonderful dinner! Crab cakes were delicious with the sauce. The ribeye was cooked as ordered and flavor was good but not anything overly special. The sides that came with the steak were on the smaller side so the price for the meal was a bit steep. The shrimp pasta dish was wonderful, if a little rich. For dessert we had the cream brûlée and chocolate cake. Some of the best ever! Don’t remember what drinks we had but it’s an open bar for the most part so order what you want. It’s the best restaurant in town with wonderful service. Our server was prompt, polite and smiled each time she came to our table. Will always recommend this place!

Our waiter was Nathan and he did an incredible job. He recited Friday's evenings dinner special from memory, he made sure everything met our expectations and was very courteous. Although we don't eat at USS that often, it is always a wonderful experience. We always enjoy visiting with Ben Hayes either before we eat or afterwards.

Ok, this review is for Sunday brunch AND Wed dinner. Both were fabulous. Tonight (Wed 11/8) we brought Dave’s brothers and spouses in from out of town (KC + MHK) to celebrate two birthdays. Rave reviews from everyone. Top notch reports on the steak frites, pork chop, tilapia, USS salad, burger. And then, OMG (and I seldom OMG), the chocolate layer cake was divine, absolutely incredible. Moist, light, salt crystals in the frosting - and the perfect ratio of frosting to cake. Outstanding. Everyone loved the atmosphere and appreciated that the sound level of the music and room allowed for conversation. Oh, and Jocelyn (sp) is just so good at serving, such a bright and cheerful soul. Our relatives were blown away by how awesome everything was tonight. Dave and I never take for granted how incredibly lucky we are to have Amanda and the entire crew and USS in Emporia.

We brought my parents for brunch as it was their 40th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed! As always, the atmosphere was fantastic and my parents could not believe how much the inside of the building had changed from the "good ole days" when it was a bar. Our drinks were phenomenal and most of the food was good. The only reason for the 9/10 for food was because the sausage tasted like it was an Italian meatball rather than a breakfast sausage patty. We will be back for sure!

Exceptional dining experience in every way. Our server, Jordan, is friendly, fun and knowledgeable. She was very attentive to our needs! The steak tartare was incredible and smash burger was great. There is nothing that we don’t LOVE about Union Street. The service staff from the greeter to the servers. All have been excellent. They make your dinner an experience, not just dinner. Can’t say enough about the food, and Cocktails. Wish I could do a rating of 15 on the food and drinks. Using and promoting LOCAL food sourcing makes us in the community feel more connected and allows for great conversation about supporting other local “growers”. Absolutely fantastic service. Wonderful food (only reason it's not a 10 is because they changed the recipe for the artichoke dip - it's still amazing, but not what i was expecting/excited to order). They actually read the note on the occasion for the reservation (date night) and had a table ready for us. It made it that much more special.

Father’s Day brunch was great! Our server was very kind and friendly. She did an outstanding job accommodating our big group! The food was also great. I especially love the fruit bowl. Some of my guest who had the USS B&G found it to be rather salty. Thank you again!
