Everything about this place was outstanding. There’s always room for improvement, however Boccaccio has made an exception to that. I couldn’t think of anything bad to say about my experience. 11/10 would recommend to anyone.

Charging for water and for vegetable side dishes caught me by surprise. It makes the overall dining experience too pricey in my opinion. The liquor prices are too high as well! The facility is very attractive and the parking availability is a plus.

The purpose for this visit was a nostalgic one originating with me (a grandfather) bringing two of my adult grandchildren to re-experience with me my many pasts visits dating back to the 1980's I believe, with them being about the same age as I was when I first began very much enjoying coming here for some years. Admittingly, for some unbeknownst reason I have not been back in several decades. Let me say at the outset that ALL of us were very pleased to have been there that evening. Even though two unfortunate things happened that could have marred the visit but fortunately did not. Those two things were that one of the menu items were not available in the kitchen that night as well as one of the usual mixers for a drink was also not available. However, our server was extremely personable, friendly (and professional) that the manner in which he delivered the news of the missing items was so honest (and even quite humorous) more than made up for them. Every dish, from starters to entrees were of outstanding taste and quality. Each and every one of them was memorable. Even though the restaurant ambience had changed (not surprisingly) since my original visits, the atmosphere was still very welcoming. All agreed that we should revisit. Congrats to the Chef and our server for all their efforts.

Summerlicious menu. Shrimps seared and smoky, ok. Prosciutto and cheese balls with arugula was decent. Two 10oz steaks, plates mixed between rare and medium rare. Fingerling potatoes were so-so as were the sweet peppers. Presentation lacking. Wait staff courteous, somewhat rushed. Multiple servers, hard to figure who the tip should belong to. 18% service charge on bill as part of living wages. Usually like to pay the bill and give a separate cash tip to the main server, if warranted well beyond. Couldn't do that with a mandatory s/c, no choice given and zero interaction. Barely got more than 5 seconds of check ins, no bread or sour dough to start. Bread is a separate order. Steak over seasoned. Added a simple Margherita pizza, acceptable. Pizzaiolo was next door, tempted to bring one home! Final summerlicious bill for 2 at $138, no wine. Nice to try out once, will need to put this one in the archives.

The waitress could barely speak English which I can understand and they didn’t bother me as much as how slow she was with everything. We told her that we had to leave and she wasn’t even there and then we had to go back-and-forth with coffees because she forgot my coffee was supposed to be decaf she gave me caffeinated so we had to wait again another 1015 minutes. I’ve been coming there for many many many years and I was very disappointed I was trying to impress to doctors that are very important to me. But I still have loyalty to you guys

Three courses should not take two hours to serve. Especially when you have to pay for parking. The food was unimpressive in every way. Based on the food and slow kitchen I would never return to this restaurant .

We were the only customers in the restaurant for the full time we were there. Restaurant needs more publicity. The food quality and presentation is superb. The pricing is very fair. The restaurant is immaculate fine dining

Hello We love that Boccaccio reopened in our area as it has always been our local favourite. Overall everything was very good. I was disappointed in the fried calamari as they seemed over done as they were dark and very crispy We enjoyed the other apps of the nodini and arancini. Out of the three pasta dishes we ordered, the Norma was the best. The carbonara was a bit too mushy with excess sauce to my liking. The seafood pasta was good. The branzino and sides were also good. We loved the desserts. The service was excellent and the overall experience was very good. We will be back to try the risotto! Grazie

I am sad to report that the service and food quality did not match the standards of our previous visits to Boccaccio's. The young male server was friendly but was not attentive .. he was also on his own on the floor to wait on tables and tend bar. The Negroni had no orange peel/slice. The pesto linguine was overcooked and stuck together in one big clump. No cheese was offered nor was the waiter in my area so that I could ask for it. The rabbit was good but should come with at least a side of pasta or potatoes. I gave the server a higher tip than what was reflective of the service. We really like the ristorante but have to give a thumbs down for this time. We drive from St. Catharines so not sure we'll make it back again.

Our food was lukewarm and seemed like leftovers from the day before. Also, not sure why they charged us for a bottle of tap water (which they referred to as Acqua Liscia)? Regardless we ate everything. Overall you were getting value for the price and shouldn't expect much more. Will probably visit again in the future and hope it will be a better experience.

Restaurant was lovely. server very nice. My meal was a bit salty and oily for me. The reason I likely won't be back was the $100 parking ticket I had on my car from Precise Parklink. I had paid a for a few hours but went over. I am a Senior with knees that need replacing so walking out to add $ would be difficult. Where I live I use Green P and I get a notice on my phone if my time is running out and I can add from where I am. This certainly ruined the day for me.

I was very disappointed, the person I spoke to earlier in the day asked me if the dinner was a special occasion. I told him it was my wife's birthday, he assured me that they would do a complimentary presentation for her. That never happened. The quality of the food was very poor, service mediocre. We were the only table in whole restaurant. It felt like we were in an abandoned place. You would better off staying close on if you don't have any clients.

The food at this place is incredible! There was only one other couple in there on a Thursday night. It’s a hidden gem and we came because Luciano Schipano. The only thing that can make this place pop is to advertise and fill the place so that the ambiance is better. Food did not disappoint!

We took as a main course the veal and side dish ( potatoes or vegetables should be include). At the Ritz Carlton I will understand but it is not the case. Service by David professional and implacable. Thanks André & Lizi

The service, though kind, was extremely slow. We waited nearly an hour to get our first course appetizers, and it took 2.5 hours to finish our 3-course meal. Which also meant paying for 3 hrs of parking that wasn't free for those coming to the restaurant. The food was honestly disappointing. The calamari had way too much breading and was overcooked. The fish was rubbery, tough and overcooked too. Decent tiramisu and cappuccino. I would not recommend this place. It's really gone way downhill.
