The doors to the kitchen were open so I could see cleaning rags, pots, and down stairs by the bathroom the untility room was propped open with all the cleaning equipment. I know these areas are there in a restaurant, but when I have to look at them - sometimes through the whole meal w kitchen it ruins ambience- which was a selling feature in one of your reviews-very bright light in the back room, very noisy by windows - so we sat at the high table by bar- very small table top for this style of serving( bowls on table) and a constant stream of Uber drivers picking up their food. What was supposed to be a romantic anniversary dinner- was not romantic- at all.
The food was terrific as was our service. We would come back- but I would wear my casual jeans, sneakers and probably opt for a cheaper weekday supper - in keeping with the atmosphere.
