It was a quiet night at the restaurant, but my friend and I had a lovely, yummy meal. The server was able to accommodate a food change request without any problem. It was my friend's birthday and we stayed a long time chatting over dinner. We did not feel rushed. It was my second time there and I will be back.

One of my favourite neighborhood spots for dinner. The only suggestion I would make is that the Pepe cacio portion be in line with your other pastas- which are very generous! There was a lot of sauce so a bit more pasta would have been great. The polenta fries are off the chart!!!

It's a neighbourhood gem for us. Food is never pretentious, just solid comforting italian food every time. We typically order the caesar & rucula salads and the seafood linguini & Diavolo pizza. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Otto's! The restaurant was conveniently located, with quiet ambiance, delicious food, and excellent service. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. Prices were good value for the money. Will visit again!

Unfortunately we booked Monday July 3 received a confirmation email and showed up for dinner. A sign on the door stated “closed”. Poor customer service and no attempt to apologize or send an email two days later!!

We had a great experience at Otto. Ritu was super helpful and
A couple things that would be helpful for next time:
1) Pro-rate the family style portions, so we aren't paying for 3 portions, but rather a pro-rated amount
2) A Wine that is more mid range; $40-$50
3) The room was quite dark and didn't have any AC running when we arrived, would be good to have better airflow, as it was quite stuffy and hot
4) A family style menu would be good to offer up for groups of 8-10+
5) Burratta serving was small for the value of the dish

Maybe need more staff? I think our waiter forgot about us at the end, after he gave us our plates. Also wondering why you ask if there is. a special occasion....if it is not acknowledged at all? I know other restaurants that give you a free dessert or wish you a Happy Birthday. The food was incredible!
