Unfortunately, there is no kids menu. Our menu changes daily, with the seasons and as crops become available. Our menu is fine dining farm-to-table most suitable for romantic dinners, celebrations and date nights, however kids are welcome.
When the dining room is fully booked and we can no longer take reservations, you are prompted to call. However, if this message shows up, we are likely too busy with customers to answer so please email us or text us if it is urgent and we will do our best to get back to you within 24 hours. If you are trying to book a last minute reservation, we are fully booked and will not be able to accommodate anymore reservations for that service. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The short answer is no. You can request one but we do not reserve them for guests. We only have 5 Gazebos and a dining capacity of 55 with 15 tables total. Most guests do request Gazebos but to maximize our seating capacity we must give those reservations with 6 guests first priority for Gazebos as they are meant for 5 - 7 guests, 7 being the maximum. We apologize if you request a Gazebo and we can not provide one. We do try our best and hope you will still enjoy your experience with us!

Overall we had a good experience ambience was great service was great and very friendly. Our suggestions are that the appetizers weren't varied enough so that if you wanted to have a variety of appetizers and no main there were no meat options for shareable plates. The evening we were there there were no fish options left so it was either pork, beef tenderloin or gnocchi. The beef was excellent however the pork was overcooked too chewy and nothing special. The pomme puree was oversalted. Our other take was that if you were only having mains and no appetizers then the mains do not showcase the vegetables from the garden. There were only a few swiss chard leaves on the potatoes which were a very large serving. Less potato more vegetables. We were a family of 5 and our bill came to $630. Drinks for $16 were good but too many ice cubes not enough drink. Harvey wallbanger tasted a bit too much like orange juice. But overall a good experience and we loved the setting! thx

I always love coming here, the food is outstanding, portions size could be a little bigger. The tables in the gazebo could use either placemats or table cloths to enhance the dining experience. The small two person tables could use a little flower vase and if the tables were turned so everyone could see the view of the gardens :) Just a few ideas but otherwise pretty darn perfect Also excited of the prospect of the restaurant staying open until December that would be amazing

We had a great time. Buns and butter were amazing. Salads, carrots and dessert were great. Mains could have use a touch more flavouring or bit more salt. Server was very nice however her check in times were spotty. I had to request a second drink by flagging someone down that was not our server. Plates took too long to be cleared from our table. Nothing that would keep us from coming back as it's a beautiful place. We hope Maple Ridge will grant you another permit.

I ordered the fried chicken and it was made with, fatty, crisely, dark meat chicken and I expected whit meat. The chicken was mostly batter and not chicken. There was very little coleslaw and it was not tasty.

What a lovely spot to visit and enjoy delicious food at. The place, very charming. The experience, unique. Enjoyed seeing the kitchen staff picking fresh vegetables straight from their garden, and taking it back to the kitchen to use in the dishes. We tried the Benny and the smoked chicken hash. No complaints. Food was fresh. Flavourful. The latte was great, too. Customer service was not great. The energy was just a bit all over the place. I will say, we visited 2 days after they opened. The young lady who served us was on her own and did her best. We could tell she was overwhelmed but stayed professionally and very polite. Can’t wait to visit again.

It was really wonderful! Our only challenge was that it was a September evening and we did not bring enough layers since seating is outside - we were cold - however, they happily supplied blankets which helped. They said they are adding heaters. We are definitely going back!

Love having a restaurant like this in our neighbourhood that focuses on seasonal foods and foods that they raise themselves. The Chicken 3 Ways was delicious but the thigh was a bit hard to eat with the bone. More wine options by the glass would be great and also saying how many ounces are in a glass.

A wonderful experience but definitely on the pricey end of the scale when the tasting menu is ordered. At first, I thought we were paying for the full bill for 4 of us, but quickly realized that was the bill split in half. It was fabulous otherwise and we will definitely return.

We loved our first visit to this magical, beautiful restaurant and farm. The food, oh the food, was divine, perfectly presented and each morsel a pleasure on the palate. Underlying each bite was the understanding that what we were enjoying was grown, harvested and prepared at the farm that we were visiting. The collection of outdoor gazebos are charming and accomodate up to seven people. The pathways to the gazebos are lined with beautiful flowers. Needless to say the ambiance is charming and provides an added elegant dimension to the dining experience. We will be back many, many times as there are not many restaurants with the calibre of this one in the Fraser Valley. Our only suggestion would be to provide pillows for diners in the gazebos. It is uncomfortable to sit on hard wooden benches while enjoying such a delightful dining experience.

Sunflower Cafe is a truly a wonderful restaurant. The semi-outdoor seating makes for a unique, peaceful setting. The food is unreal. So much care is put into everything and every ingredient. Each dish I’ve tasted is incredible. We have had brunch 4 times now and can’t wait to try the dinner menu! All in all a not-to-be-misses experience. Top tier dining in a beautiful farm setting. It’s really something special.

Minor observation for service - we were sitting in one of the charming gazebos, as DD I was drinking water. Our table only received one refill, while I watched the tables on the patio be refilled at least 3 times. I ended up drinking my husbands glass too.

What a hidden gem in Maple Ridge! The food was outstanding and the presentation simply wonderful. The setting is so beautiful and you didn't feel rushed. The positive high energy just radiated from the staff and nothing was too much trouble. We witnessed a staff member go into the garden to get vegetables for the chef. It doesn't get any fresher than that! Love this place!

The brewed coffee that was being served was extremely watery to the point that it was see through and we were not given cutlery until way after our meal was already placed in front of us and we had wave down our server. By the sounds of it, it was an extremely busy Saturday so next time we’ll just try going on a weekday. Delicious food which is the main reason we came anyways :)

We really had a lovely dinner I am aware you are working on getting liquor license We did enjoy a lovely glass in your parking lot overlooking the gardens Seems like a great place to bring your own wine for small corking fee The food was good, chicken amazing as was the short ribs cooked to perfection, one thing with the short ribs I was surprised by the plating no colour Beet tops hidden under I expected with a garden a few nice veggies Sadly that was disappointing The apple cake for dessert was delicious Since we both didn’t have data we had to rely on the waitress to read out the menu I understand and support the paperless menu especially with covid but perhaps a tasteful chalk or white board at the entrance could be an idea All in all a lovely experience

This was my first time at the Sunflower Cafe. When the waitress realized this she told the story of the farm and how the cafe came to be. The chef came out personally to delivery and check on our impressions of the food. He was interested in our opinions. The food was amazing. I especially loved the buttermilk, rhubarb pudding. One of the yummiest desserts I have ever had. The personal gazebo in the fresh air made me feel safe and the distance from others allowed for lots of privacy. The location of this restaurant on a working farm is stellar. So green and quiet. Was pleased and surprised to find the toilet (which initially looked like an outhouse) is fully working....flushing toilet, electricity and running water. Squeaky clean as well. I want to go back again and again....on a sunny day, in the evening when its dark and lit up. I want to try it is different seasons as the menus change as different items are ready for picking. Thanks so much for a great experience.

Our family group of 5 went last Sunday evening. This was our 6th or 7th visit to the café since early 2022. We love the refreshingly wonderful and different ambiance and food concept, which is so unusual and completely different from the mainly boring fare available on that side of the Fraser Valley. Sitting outdoors in this charming farm setting being served lovely food is a real treat that we always looked forward to. This last time was somehow different, I think the word has gotten out, and the place is being discovered as they are very busy. So first the good; The beef tenderloins were perfectly medium rare, wonderfully tender, with a lovely jus and served with mashed potato and one very stringy hard to chew long green thing. Tasted great, although for $46 I thought it was a pretty microscopic portion. My little grand daughter loved the kids portion of gnocchi, their gnocchi is really fine. The halibut main was fine as well but nothing extraordinary We always used to love their appetizers, they were creative, different and delicious. This time not so much; The cucumber salad was pretty to look at but the taste was a big uninspired zero and certainly not worth the $16 for 12 thin slices of cucumber. Then there was the steak tartare. I am a big fan of steak tartare and have had some absolutely delicious tartare in the past. Not this time, uninspired, flat taste, big nothing, again not worth the $16 or so bucks for something so uninspired. Next there was the smoked salmon and endives. This is also something I have enjoyed in the past and I was looking forward to it. I've had it in upscale sushi bars, often with Ikura on the endive, or lox with capers on the endive, but this was nothing like that. More of a mixed endive salad with chunks of salmon, again I was left underwhelmed. For the kind of nosebleed prices being charged here now, I feel they have reached a value tipping point where the product is not really worth it anymore, and we may not be back.

LOVED our time at Sunflower Cafe. Went there for first time to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary. Was delighted by the gazebo we were seated in with our toddler (who amused himself by people watching, walking along the circular bench we were sitting on, and trying bites and sips of everything that arrived). It’s outdoors but offers adequate protection from the elements, although you definitely want to dress for heat or cold (there’s no A/C or heaters! well, there’s outdoor patio heaters in the main tent not the gazebos). And the food!!! We came for the organic local regenerative food (where else do you find this???) and everything was absolutely delicious. And it seemed affordable (although we didn’t order alcohol). I’m not a restaurant person - I prefer to cook at home with ingredients that are fresh, real, wholesome and organic (hard to find this in any restaurants) - but I will absolutely be coming back to Sunflower Café. The only question I have is once our toddler starts eating more and we need to order a plate for him, not sure if there’s something that’d work - but they do say on their website that with advance notice even the pickiest eaters will leave happy, so I’m optimistic!

I hate to give away our little neighbourhood secret with such high ratings but this place is fantastic. Delicious food that we savoured all the more because we were looking out at the field in which most of the ingredients grew. Warm hospitality. We love coming here and it's been a 10 every time. Remember to dress for the weather. You are eating under cover but outside!

Loved the space. The gazebos were comfortable and cute. The food was well seasoned and plated. The appetizers of the tasting menu were not as memorable as the mains which were divine. One member of our group opted for the wine pairing however the wines never came with the meal it was supposed to. We had to remind our waiter a few times about the wine pairing. Besides this, we enjoyed our time and would recommend it to our friends.

The experience at the Sunflower Cafe was so unique and special. It is pretty amazing to stare out at the beautiful gardens where your ingredients are grown, while enjoying a top shelf gourmet meal. The freshness of all the ingredients certainly came through on our palettes while eating every bite of our food.

As always the food was spectacular. Definitely enjoyed every bite. However, I had booked a gazebo (well in advance) for my partners 74th birthday and was told I couldn’t have one when I arrived as they were all full. First come, first served? Anyway we made the best of it (even in 33 degrees) until the sun came on my back and I started to feel sick. Is there any way to put up a screen to block the evening sun in the table area? It is too much for seniors to take, unfortunately. Otherwise, it was a fabulous dinner. Thanks so much.

Loved this beautiful restaurant! Sitting in a beautiful gazebo, surrounded by beautiful gardens of flowers and vegetables. Soft music, staff and owners very engaging in attention and fun conversation. Oh and the food was INCREDIBLE! Farm to table, such a taste experience. Beef short ribs, fresh halibut, and a huge butterfly chicken breast. Will definitely go again, soon I hope.

Unfortunately they didn’t have our reservation but we were still seated on time. Some of the music was too loud and electric guitar was too heavy . The speaker was moved which helped and the music switched to something very nice, but heavy electric guitar music came on again. It is such a lovely place and the food and service was good.a vegan option would be nice if possible. I will be back! Thanks!

The food was amazing, but would liked to have had more vegetables. Love the setting! The night we went it was a bit chilly so we thought we would move from the gazebo into the tent, thinking it would be warmer, it was actually colder. Would be nice if you could have some infrared heaters or some kind of heat. All in all, loved it and will be back again…in warm weather.

We are so lucky to have a restaurant like this in Maple Ridge. The food was absolutely incredible. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience perfect. The owner gave us a tour of the farm before dinner, and the chef even came out to talk to our table. As a Vegan the chef not only accommodated my dietary needs, but made me an amazing plant based appetizer, meal, and dessert that was not on the menu. One of the best dining out experiences I’ve ever had, will absolutely be back again.

Perhaps in the ph message direct the caller to the website to make a reservation I liked that though it was outside mosquitoes were not an issue. I had the classic breakfast. Loved it all except the hashbrown :)

This place is stunning. The food is beautifully crafted and you can tell the chef is a true master of their craft. The service was good but it did take a long time for someone to come to the table and greet us once we were seated. This place is a true gem and we will definitely be back.
