We were able to get a last-minute reservation and enjoyed a lovely Venetian meal. Even though we had an early 6pm reservation, they were already out of the two menu items that I was hoping to try. Friendly staff was helpful in deciding on the quantity of food to order: my husband and I shared one starter, one first course and each ordered a second course. All portions were very large so I’m glad we’d decided to share several dishes. Everything was delicious! Very happy customers!

Piatti buoni e ben presentati. Locale carino e personale disponibile e attento. Unica pecca e non da poco, abbiamo ordinato 2 calici di vino in momenti diversi ed entrambe le volte ci hanno portato il calice con già all’interno il vino. Anche in ristoranti di fascia inferiore il cameriere viene al tavolo con la bottiglia di vino e procede a concedere l’assaggio, prima di versare tutto il vino nel calice. A parte questo è stata un’esperienza positiva. Ristorante consigliato.

De retour à venise pour le réveillon du nouvel an, nous y avons réservé de nouveau pour 3 soirs tant nous avions apprécié la qualité et l'originalité des plats. Et de nouveau, nous avons été conquis : le service est efficace et le personnel très à l'écoute et souriant, les plats sont excellents, le fritte misto exceptionnel. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse à venise : excellent rapport qualité/prix/service.

This was a fantastic dining experience. The restaurant is beautifully situated, with tables overlooking the canal. The homemade cuisine was outstanding from beginning to end. The fish soup, octopus, steak tartare and paccheri were particularly delicious. The Amarone was superb. But, what sets this restaurant apart from its competitors most of all, is one of the warmest and most engaging front of house teams in all of Venice. Simply wonderful!

One of the best epicurean experiences of my life. The staff was kind and helpful. A short story, they made a mistake on my order which they told me about before I got the chance to report it. What happened was that an incorrect dish was served. They told me about it and made the right one and offered the incorrect one at no extra charge. I offered to pay for it anyway but they absolutely refused. I asked for the manager and she refused as well. I felt bad, so I gave them a better tip than expected. Very kind, hospitable and most importantly of all, amazing food.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant! Booking a table through the online system was incredibly convenient and hassle-free. On arrival, we were greeted by the friendliest staff, who made us feel so welcome right away. They recommended the fish of the day, and it was absolutely delicious ! So fresh and perfectly cooked! We also ordered some pasta, and I can honestly say it was the best pasta I’ve ever had! We were a group of six, including two children, and the staff had no trouble rearranging the tables to accommodate us comfortably. To top it all off, we were treated to some complimentary limoncello, which was such a lovely and thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience — great food, wonderful service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The food and the quality were amazing! The location really nice but the tables are a bit tight with each other. Not sure whether it's an Italian thing but at least it didn't affect the experience! Looking forward to visit again.

Wonderful experience! Everything was delicious. The Branzino was great (I wish there weren’t bones in it though). The peppercorn steak was also good. Our son’s kid’s spaghetti was the best spaghetti I have EVER had!!! It had such a rich velvety tomato sauce. Amazing!

I went there from Japan. I had an assortment of appetizers and two types of pasta. The food was very delicious. The atmosphere inside the store was also very nice. I had a baby with me, but I was treated with care and felt at ease. I would like to go again.

Really lovely experience! It was my birthday and they made me feel so special! The food was also the best we had in Venice, the pasta dishes were insanely good and me and my partner kept swapping bowls as we couldn’t decide which one was the best!

It was a beautiful, quiet little spot right near the water. The food and service were incredible. We got a very large fish for my husband and I and they came out and took the fish off the bone with EXPERT skill in front of us. It was amazing to watch and better to eat. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone going to Venice.

We loved everything about this place. Our table was outside the canal so we could enjoy watching boats go by. The food was amazing. We shared an octopus appetizer. I had a pasta dish with mixed seafood as a main and my husband had a filet. Best meal we've had on this trip and we've had good food everywhere.

Our complete experience at Osteria Fanal del Codega was fantastic. Service was excellent, atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, the food was amazing and beautifully presented; everyone enjoyed their dishes. Wine recommendation was terrific. Our experience lived up to all of the excelllent reviews we read when we initially made our reservations. Would absolutely go back when we return to Venice!
