Our first visit here on the 29th of September, we had been out all day and wanted somewhere quick to stop for tea before heading home. The staff were very accommodating and food was absolutely beautiful! Even the other customers were lovely and chatting to our 1 year old. Can’t wait to come back.

First time visit recommended by a friend travelled from cardiff and was well worth it! From start to finish staff went out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome! Food was exceptional!!!! Only criticism is not even choice on dessert and it is slightly highly priced which will limit our visits to every couple of months. But we will definitely be returning again! Overall i couldn't complain about a thing x

It was our first meal out since lockdown, we stopped here for Sunday lunch with our dog so we sat outside on ghdd Ed lawn . Loverly surroundings , staff very welcoming and efficient. Really good food we had the pork Sunday lunch and a veggie nut roast , best nut roast I’ve tasted ! Good value for money and the Guinness was wonderful! Would definitely stop here again , nice big car park

As a regular it was quiet sad to how quiet it was - I appreciate the coronavirus has not helped.
Although a shortened menu the food was very good.
Both the 2 young waiter and waitress were very efficient and courteous - both of them seemed to enjoy their work.

We had a problem with one of the meals (not the Carne Arms fault) and it was replaced with an alternative very quickly. The chef/owner came out personally to make sure everything was ok. Nice gesture and very attentive staff.

Lovely ladies serving us, couldn’t do enough.
Tables in the grass area need a good clean, covered in moss and bird poo and your cutlery wrapped in napkins and drinks are being placed on this.
So disappointed with the home made pie, fat, fat and more fat then what wasn’t fat was mushrooms - loads of them! Didn’t think the food was of the same standard of when we used to come before lockdown.
May try again in the future but won’t rush back.

Didn't like the lack of control. People seemed to be able to go to the bar instead of waiting to be served. Surprised the staff were not masked apart from that we loved it. Was great to out to enjoy a good meal again.
