Overall good . I did feel though that the restaurant needed sprucing up. I did find the greasy aroma on entry was quite strong but what do I expect from a plaice (!) Serving fish and chips!!

Really enjoyed bringing our grandchildren here - we all had a great time. The food was good except for the mushy peas which are usually excellent but we felt this time were not up to the customary high standard. Also - no avocado in the salad, there usually is! On the whole though a good experience.

My first visit to the Copperfish was a real treat, made all the more enjoyable by a lovely sunset over Mumbles Pier.
The meal was delicious, portions large, fish cooked perfectly, prompt, friendly service and great value for money. I will definitely return.

Excellent service, chef had just left for reasons unknown to us, however, they still accommodated our booking for 5 people. The staff were very good at arranging food for my son who has a milk allergy. The side dishes were pricy but good portions provided.

We were a party of six at 1.30pm on good friday. Overall we had a lovely experience. I was disappointed to be told there was at least a half hour wait on food-not what you want to hear when we are all hungry. The childrens food should have a choice of peas or beans. I asked for beans and they came with peas which were wasted unfortunately. After waiting for our food, the waitress had only brought cutlery for 4 of us. The last thing you want to do when your food is going cold is wait for cutlery. Two of us had the cod and chips and I feel this should come with a small side of mushy peas/peas. Also it would be great to have bread and butter as a side-a bap is definitely an acquired taste. We will definitely back though-staff are always wonderful.

Excellent as always. Great food, succulent fish, crisp batter and good value. They were incredibly busy due to staff shortages but the service was still very good and tables were clean. The only small point is that there was no hand wash in the ladies toilets. Will keep returning.

Had looked oat the menu nline and seen half roast chicken which our 10 year old was delighted about, but when we got there the menu had changed so she was a bit disappointed.

I was delighted to be able to have a gluten free meal with my family.
If I were to change anything it would be to try and warm it up on a chilly day (the door was opened a lot because it was busy, so keeping it warm may be tricky) and having some calmer music to offset the noise of toddlers ☺️
