We booked a table online as it was my husbands birthday. I chose the Three Horseshoes as we have had some lovely meals a few times before , and only live about 5 minutes away. We enjoyed the bbq ribs, chips & salad. The chips were lovely crisp & fluffy. The staff made sure we were happy with everything. We highly recommend the Three Horseshoes Cenarth.

A warm welcome was received at this establishment, with plenty of staff checking that we were ok for drinks. Good selection of food. 2 of our party had sirloin steaks, I had the rib eye (which was very delicious) and our 12 year old had a burger, we also had garlic bread and a few sides. Tummies were very full and satisfied, but we somehow managed to fit in a pudding each, which again were delicious. We will be happy to come again.

We had an excellent meal at The Three Horseshoes. Our friends were visiting us for a few days and they thought the choice on the menu was brilliant. The atmosphere was cosy and the service was excellent. The steaks are wonderful, the best we have ever tasted. What is also very important to us is that we are able to bring our two small dogs too.

I’m a local and had many meals here and would recommend this pub. I’ve just had family visit and they also enjoyed a evening there, the one’s that had steak said it was the best they ever had and definitely would be going there again. One of them did make a mistake with there steaks and ordered medium rare when should have ordered rare. The owner did explain that the chief got a gadget that tells her exactly how the steak should be. The owner kindly replaced her with a complete meal even thou she was wrong. Thank you. The service was brilliant and made use very welcome

My friend and I had a good lunch experience yesterday afternoon. Mal said he could definitely have eaten a bigger portion of the delicious cottage pie. It wasn't a particularly large portion to be fair. I would have found it helpful to know what was homemade or not...certainly with the desserts. We both loved the old fashioned (and warm!) pub with the inglenook. Mal and both enjoyed and really appreciated the friendly waitress too. We will definitely be back. Thank you

The reason for giving 9 above for overall experience and ambience was the table we were given was in the bar area which was quite noisy from people at the bar and the door caused a draft every time it was opened other than that it was an nice meal.

We "discovered" The Three Horseshoes last year when we were on holiday and booked again this year. The steaks were the best we have ever tasted, one of our party used to be a butcher and he said the same. Lovely atmosphere and very good service too. Credit to the wonderful staff. Two of the starters were excellent. The Calamari needed a little extra, maybe warm bread and attractive garnish. Lasagna mains was perfect. Steak mains was a little lacking for the price. Maybe tomato, onion rings could of been included. Salmon was a little under cooked, fries were also a little under cooked and soggy . Dessert menu was uninspiring.

Lovely place, good beer, however the food was very average, Not home cooked and appeared to be microwaved.. A real shame as the pub is beautiful
