Traditional Pub Menu serving fresh food, with all the expected favourites, combined with Steaks, Grills, Chef’s recommendations, Salads, and a Specials Board which incorporates unique items all served freshly prepared, we cater for every need, including all aspects of dietary requirements. Booking is strongly advised especially for evenings and weekends.
Sunday Lunch we have a choice of 3 meats served to your table with dishes of generous portions of vegetables for just £11.95 and child £7, we also have a delicious selection of desserts to complete your lunch. It is advisable to reserve a table. (See our main menu).

Please Note dogs are not allowed inside the main restaurant but are welcome in our bar and outside pub garden. Reservations will be made in our Restaurant only. We also have a bar area for dining but these spaces are not bookable and guests are sat on a first come first served basis.
Please ensure that you arrive promptly for your reservation time, you will have a maximum of 2 hours at the table. Tables will be given away, if you are more than 15 minutes late.

Lovely staff as always. I think it's always a nice touch that you make sure everyone has a drink at the different times people arrive instead of waiting for everyone to turn up. The only issue we had yesterday was that the tables were too close together which meant the inconsiderate person who came and sat behind me rammed me into my seat and also put their chair onto my coat. We had to move the table ourselves which meant the table behind my friends was then too close to the table behind

If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. There is absolutely nothing that needs changing. The pub/restaurant is lovely, the food is great and good value, and the service was fast and friendly. Our waiter Brooklyn was very amusing, yet efficient. An all round great experience and we will definitely be back.

booked a table for 14.30,turned up at 14.15,to be told that the kitchen was closing at 15.00,so could we chose quickly what we wanted.On yoyr website it showed that food was available all day,from 12.00 to 22.00.Two of us had the cockle and lavabread starter,which although being tasty,i only counted 3 cockles.I had the garlic chicken main,tough chicken with hardly a hint of garlic,the other two had chicken breast with sauces,quite tasty but smothered in cheese(to much).On the bright side the chips were lovely,but we will not return,regards Chris

Food was enjoyable, had our starters & main course in timely manner but waited a very long time for dessert. Lack of staff & the staff that was there appeared to lack experience . We had a mix up with our bill but was sorted out eventually.

When we arrived we didn’t get a particularly good welcome. The girl was quite surly and when she said is that table ok I said Mum struggled with steps and her response was “that’s the only one that’s clean”
There were no please or thank yous from the girl. The atmosphere changed when she left and the gentleman who brought our food over was much more friendly.
I got the impression they were short staffed and that is hard but please don’t take that out on paying customers.
The food was excellent but sadly we will not be returning.
Service is so important and it doesn’t take anything to smile and say please and thank you. We just felt like a big inconvenience.
