The Swan went above and beyond for the booking. It was my boyfriends birthday and even though it was a Sunday so they were not serving steak, they especially accommodated hun as he (cheekily!) asked if they had any. He said it was the nicest steak he’s ever had. I had the fish and chips which were amazing. Waitresses were really nice and helpful with recommendations on food and drinks. Couldn’t recommend more and looking forward to our next trip.

Wow! Absolutely loved our night at The Swan. Everything was perfect - amazing warm welcome on arrival from Sam, followed by the most amazing food! I don’t think I can describe how good the food was in words - so you need to go and try it! Every course was like a work of art on a plate, and tasted amazing. We even got to chat to Pat the chef after, and he explained how each part of every dish works to complement the other items on the plate. Such a lovely experience, and the free taxi service was an amazing touch also. Highly recommended - we’ll definitely be back soon! Thank you for a lovely evening!

Had heard how good the Sunday lunches were, so thought let’s go. Most places you go to with such good reviews leave you disappointed ,will this is NOT true with the Swan. Lunch was wonderful and the best roast beef we’ve had. We had dessert to follow and congratulations to chef who makes a proper chocolate brownie (sticky and gooey) and a light fluffy cheesecake. Keep up the excellent work.

I visited last night with my parents after hearing so many good things about the food.the food was really good ..we were very well looked after by Samantha whos personality really shone through.
My only negative points are that i asked not to be seated in the Middle of the restaurant when i booked but maybe you never picked that up..a little bit noisy from the bar but overall a very enjoyable evening with good service and food.
Ill definetly be returning

The new management is doing a great job with getting this village pub going again. The candles and lighting, along with some new paint and a few cushions make the ambiance really lovely in the evenings. The waiting staff are very attentive and welcoming. We've had a few take-aways from here during lockdown which were fantastic and we've enjoyed a couple of meals here now. I would say that the food is very good quality, although some dishes are very rich; I had the lamb which was quite fatty and there wasn't much meat on it, but the rest of the plate was delicious. The other meals we had were very nice, the chicken was tasty but again the sauce was too rich to eat it all. The wine menu isn't particularly good, and I don't think really compliments the quality of the meals. Overall this pub is on the up though and it's great to see them trying new things.

Extremely well cooked food. Very talented chef, food seasoned and presented beautifully.
The environment let it down, food at that standard deserves a little more TLC spending on the restaurant . The food was value for money , but the environment sadly didn’t equal it.
Saying that we could over look that and would come again gladly , but some of the general public wouldn’t unfortunately.
