Absolutely love El Toro, food is excellent, staff are lovely, the only improvement l would suggest is the ambience, it's difficult to explain, but perhaps a more cosy would help.

Great welcome. Good tapas. Good wine choice. The steak and chips tapas excellent. A little more vinaigrette with the salad and perfection. We’ll be going again (and again). Try it. You’ll enjoy !

The food was typical Tapas options, adequate but not particularly exciting. The staff were lovely although we had to chase up our wine. The pub had a nice feel and got quite busy as the evening progressed. I would recommend it to friends as a different evening.

Food, service and value for money cannot be faulted but what I dislike about the place is the lack of atmosphere. Firstly, the lighting is far too bright and there’s too much of it, the area that leads to the garden is stark - be better with drapes or something to break it up - and the bare floors and walls make it feel ‘cold’ (not physically). It could be improved by having a few soft furnishings around or some sort of feature piece of furniture.
I will go again but I’d enjoy it more if the place was just ‘softened’ a little.
