We absolutely love going to Dem Shish but we really wish the service would improve. The staff are lovely and friendly but we always find that we wait for a long time between services and have to get their attention a lot to ask for things. Last visit we waited half an hour after getting our mains cleared away for anyone to come about desserts (I asked in the end) and then it was nearly half an hour after this to receive them. That said, we will return as we love the food but this may stop others from returning.

We had a great night. Some of our group had not been before and were very impressed. I had been but not ever stayed very late. The entertainment, the singer was very good and the late disco finished of the evening perfectly. Think we were the last group to leave! We will be back :)

Lovely meal in very smart restaurant with a good feel to it. Only rated ambience 9 because it was rather quiet, but to be expected really on a Monday lunchtime. Attentive friendly staff who gave us some bread to have with the starter of Baba Ganoush, again only marked food as 9 as it did need some bread with it. The food we had was tasty, hot and well presented. Booked again with friends

We were extremely happy with lunch at the Dem Shish. The ambiance was outstanding as was the service. The food was very good tho’ for me the amounts were a little too large. The value was also very good. The only recommendation I’d make is to replace the old pub pillar on the main road. It foxed me as this was my first visit.

This is our 2nd time at Dem Shish and it was also a very busy Mother's Day. Dem Shish did not disappoint! Aveyron high standard of service, Food was excellent and there was also a singer which added to an already lovely day! This is the best eating experience in the area in my opinion! Our first visit and I'm sure it won't be the last. Lovely, fresh food and plenty of choice for vegetarians. Service was very good, very friendly staff. Decor very clean and fresh looking and tables not too crowded together. Our only negative comment would be the price of alcoholic drinks, but then everything seems to have gone up these days. First time eating here and we loved it. Not a single thing to complain about. Food was amazing. Staff were helpful and friendly. Live singer, who was excellent. Will definitely be returning soon and have been recommending already
