We were really looking forward to our visit to the Richmond Arms as we used to go regularly under the previous ownership and it's a pub that's local to us. However we were disappointed. The menu was very limited and none of the dishes particularly appealed - main course options were pork belly with lentils, mussels with fennel or gnocchi. We chose the mussels in the end but there was no accompaniment so we asked what was available. The options were vegetables or fried potatoes. The mussels weren't hot enough and having chosen the potatoes we found that there weren't enough between 3 of us so had to order a second bowl. It wasn't the experience we were hoping for but it would be brilliant if the new owners take on board feedback from their guests and bring this pub back to being a great restaurant.

Lovely do friendly pub! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious Sunday lunch! We will definitely be back!
