Bennett's is open 7 days a week 10am until 5pm. At busy times like lunch and weekend breakfast it is advisable to book. When the weather is nice we have a spacious outdoor terrace area - perfect for al fresco dining!

Went for breakfast and everything was great. The staff are all lovely, very friendly and attentive.
My friend and I weren't that impressed with the breakfast sausages, they tasted a 'bit gritty' - however we still cleared our plates.
Would definitely recommend Bennetts but it is advisable booking as it gets very busy.
Enjoyed it so much have booked again for lunch next week!

First time visiting and what a lovely cafe it is with the added bonus of a small gift shop too. Plenty of choice on the menu. I had the goats cheese and caramelised onion chutney in a warm panini with salad, slaw & crisps. Very filling and reasonable price. It was busy for a Monday lunchtime so best to book a table but I never felt rushed by the staff who we all very pleasant. The cakes looked delicious (I will be back to sample them) as did the various flavours of ice cream. Great find!

As always, high quality food in a lovely bistro. I look forward to visiting you again.
On this occasion however, the excitement and noise from the other diners (it was very busy!) plus some loud (kitchen?) machinery meant that it was a little difficult to hear our chat at our table.
Everything was beautifully presented and served up to us. Staff were friendly and helpful and our food tasted great and represented excellent value.

Service was spot on, friendly staff and really helpful too. Very nice menu with options for all, inclusive of special dietary needs. Food was absolutely fantastic and fresh, super delicious and lovely ingredients with generous portions. Drinks were also great, supplying tap water as well on a warm day. We didn’t feel rushed at all, despite it being busy. Not cheap but you get what you pay for, big portions of high quality, really tasty food and commendable service. Returning customers that will be returning again!

I have been several times with friends. Today I brought my husband and 16 year old granddaughter. We loved it. The food excellent as always so was the staff. We will be back soon.
The only thing was I left it too late to book a lunchtime ( between 12pm and 2 pm ) I could only get 11.15 or 2.45. We got the 11.15 but lunches didn’t start till 12. We had full breakfasts they were lovely. Then sat outside with an icecream.

I brought my grandchildren for breakfast and to see the animals. We always enjoy the food and atmosphere. The only criticism I would have is that the bacon was hard and therefore we left it. We booked for 10.15 so maybe it was prepared too far in advance??

This was our first visit to Bennett’s and it did not disappoint. The staff, food and service were all excellent. My grandson enjoyed seeing the old farm machinery and the animals as well. My mum is 94 and it was lovely to be able to take her out for such a lovely lunch. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Love coming to Bennett’s! The food is delicious and reasonably priced and the service is brilliant - everyone is very friendly and polite making you feel very welcome. The gift shop is a must and never go home without a cake !

We came for the first time to celebrate a birthday on a recommendation for the first time. We were not disappointed. The food and service were incredible. Our waitress was so patient with the little people we brought with us. She brought table toys for the children to amuse them. The food was fresh and generous portions. The chicken nuggets were chicken!!!! Suggestions: The baked beans were very hot for the little ones and in a little metal dish that retained the heat for a long time. Less messy to eat from the dish with a spoon than tip them on the plate but would like a plastic dish. I bought my daughter a large ornament from the shop for her birthday but it wasn't wrapped/boxed just handed to her. Devalued the £35 'gift' a little. Our biggest disappointment was not being able to view the animals which was why we had come for the celebration with little people.
I was so impressed with the food and service I've already booked a return trip as a surprise for a friend. Got a tray of eggs too which are incredible so still enjoying the experience.
