Excellent food. Quick service. Friendly staff. Good value for the $$. It's a bar, so ambience is what you'd expect, but it was relatively quiet for a Friday evening. Good attention to CoVID protocols - tables were spaced out and masking enforced. I had the Toad in a Hole (Sausages in a GIANT popover) with mashed potatoes, gravy + peas. Excellent. Gravy was very flavorful, but more like jus than thick gravy. Sausage might have been made in house - was unlike anything I've had before, but delicious. Wife had Beef in Yorkshire Pudding - chunks of tender, flavorful beef in gravy, inside of the GIANT popover. Also, very delicious. Dessert was (I think) called a "Stonut" - fresh made donut with ice cream - I'm not much for sweets, so only had a taste, but the rest was readily consumed by dear wife.. Would absolutely recommend, and will be back!!
