The restaurant wasn’t open for service the day of my dinner reservation. Someone from the restaurant sent me an email advising me the restaurant would be closed. I changed my dinner plans accordingly. Perhaps next time.

Service was perfect! Attentive without smothering. Apps were delicious as were meals. Main courses rather pricey as were drinks. Atmosphere welcoming. Music was scheduled to begin @6 but when we left @6:30 unfortunately it hadn’t yet begun. Overall wonderful experience and would return!

Good food. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere. We were kind of expecting jazz music, - there was live music, but it wasn’t jazz. The service was decent. We were both a little disappointed with the bloody Mary’s. They were just fair. Everything else was good.

We ordered the fried oysters and grits
West Indian snapper and the Blackened catfish which were all very good! Very flavorful. We also ordered the spiced apple bread pudding which was more like a cake but did not care for that. Definitely would go back again!

It was my wife's birthday dinner, and she picked the place based on a dish she has had there before. The item was not on the menu, and the owner tried to make it like my wife never had the dish there. On several occasion with me and other family members witnessed her having that dish. The wait staff seemed to be pushing us out too, did not even offer us desert or the desert menu. Not a great experience.
