We’ve blended the sophistication of a gourmet deli with the casual atmosphere of a classic French bistro to create a unique dining experience where artisanship meets playful elegance.

Guests can expect artisan breakfast, speciality deli sandwiches and salads, leisurely weekend brunches, and French-inspired bistro dining in the evening, to eat in or take away, plus our range of wonderful wines and drinks from our sister wine bar next door.

Our Festive Christmas menu begins on Monday, 17 November. We are open for lunch everyday and dinner Wednesday-Sunday. Monday & Tuesday evenings during the festive period are available to book for your private functions, please get in touch! This establishment stands far above other venues in Chippenham, and possibly the wider area. We had a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner there yesterday. The food was excellent and expertly prepared, and the atmosphere was perfectly welcoming. A highlight was the exceptional Oregon wine suggested for the meal, which truly elevated the entire experience. Furthermore, the owner, Bryan, was personable and lovely, making a genuine connection with us. Thank you to the Wine Monkey & Kitchen team for a truly great evening.

Had been to brunch but never dinner - was amazing intimate experience - there weee a couple of dishes that weren’t on the menu which means didn’t get to try the lamb but what we did have was great left full and content and was reasonably priced and excellent service

We had the Full Monkey breakfast which was beautifully presented and tasted great. The poached eggs were slightly over done but overall we loved our first breakfast there. We’ll be back for more soon!!

I had a lovely 2-course lunch which had some very interesting options. The Mushroom and lentil Pate was really tasty and the Main course was too. I was served a glass of wine from the wine bar attached and that was lovely too , definitely a welcome new and very different place to eat. we loved it and i am sure others will too

Excellent overall. The pate starter was good but would have benefitted from a side of chutney and the bread toasted. Similarly the burrata starter needed bread. All main courses were excellent. We had clafoutis for dessert which was nice but would have been better warm.

What a fabulous place. A really great addition to the hospitality landscape in Chippenham. The food is generous and tasty and service is friendly and genuine. We went in search of a wine menu as we weren't given one and it took a while to get drinks, but they were busy and the place has a great buzz. We will be back for sure.

My first visit. Disappointed that the menu was not as advertised on the website. Confused re unclear menu options. Would have liked to have option of just a filled baguette without added salad. Generous portions of tasty food. Waitress very cheerful and helpful though did bring the wrong accompanying salad!

Loved the food, it was absolutely gorgeous. We thought the ordering process was confusing. There was no menu so choosing from what we'd manage to view on the counter shelves wasn't very clear as we didn't really know what was a starter, a side salad or a main. I couldn't see beyond the items on the front of the shelves due to a recent back injury and a lack of space with other customers doing the same. We were extremely happy with what we chose and ate, but wasn't entirely sure how it was priced based on the chalkboard categories. There was also some confusion ordering drinks as we hadn't seen a drinks menu either, but was given to us eventually. So overall, we enjoyed our visit, apart from the rather chaotic ordering process.
