I’m a big fan of this little cafe and have been coming here for many years. In present climes, This was a real treat and nine months in the waiting to have lunch at the Olive Tree cafe with my bestie friend. Coffee and walnut cake to die for as was our toasted sandwich and coffee. Everyone there has worked so hard to make it possible to have a taste of normal life. Thank you!

Friendly and efficient staff on the day I visited. The cushion on the chair was dirty on one side so I had to turn it over to avoid getting the dirt (food I think) on my clothing. We could have done with a little more milk for two of us as we had pots of tea with extra hot water. On the whole, it was the warm experience we usually associate with The Olive Tree!

The Olive Tree Cafe is a special place. It’s not fancy, which in my opinion is great. There is a lovely menu, all in house cooked and baked, at a reasonable price. My friends and I always enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the Olive Tree cafe. The relaxed and friendly ambience , the tasty food and very good value make it a favourite venue. We also much prefer the change from queuing, which could take a long time, to table service and hope that that will stay in place as Covid regs are relaxed.
We are looking forward to trying out the outside seating area when the season comes round.

I loved the really crisp hash browns, the beautiful deep yellow orange colour of the free range fried egg and tasty bacon. Not so sure about sausage tad bland. However Dariusdave walks with a stick these days and having to wait for my booked table to be cleared and sanitised painful. Given most tables were empty c1145 could have been offered a chair?

We as a family love coming here, when my grandchildren are at school my daughter and myself come for lunch when I'm not working.. this week grandchildren were with us, and every member of visible staff checked they were ok, gave them colouring sheets to complete and made sure they asked them for their orders, they both felt so happy to be included. We love coming here. Thank you so much for great staff and lovely food x

We were shown to our table but waited to have our order taken, no one came up, so I went up to order, my friends cake came and our tea, but no panini, so I waited. In the end I went up and the order hadn’t gone to the kitchen, when I did get it, it was overdone and so hard to eat. This isn’t how it normally is, so hope all is well there as it would be a shame if it doesn’t continue it’s good work

very helpful and friendly staff - warm welcome - good service - freshly cooked quality food - clean - great value for money - accommodate my dietary needs etc which makes going to this cafe stress-free for me - nice atmosphere - a lovely little place to go -
gets busy and staff work hard - due to good standards - some times customers may need to be patient and understanding that the staff do everything to make your experience a good one and it may occasionally takes a little longer - this place and its team are 5* - we take our friends and family and continue to recommend it xt
