Frequently Asked Questions- Do you expect customers to wear a face covering.
- We comply with any current government rules/guidance. Face coverings are not required at this time and we ask that consideration is given to other customers whilst moving around the cafe.
- Can I bring my pet into the restaurant.
- Other than support animals, we ask that any customer wishing to bring along a dog/pet take their refreshments in the outside seating area or the designated tables in the indoor Garden Room area only. We do ask that only fully socialised dogs are brought to the inside cafe tables.
- How long can I stay at my table
- We plan our reservations for a 90 minute period. If you think that you may need longer than this please discuss with the team to see how this may be accommodated at the start of your visit.
- Can I book a table for more than 8
- Tables can be booked online for up to eight people. For larger groups please ring and talk to the team. Space allowing, we can seat up to 25 in a private area.
- Can I reserve a table for all times

All the staff were friendly & efficient. My husband had the full English & always rates it the best ever - it’s always piping hot which is how he likes it. I had the bacon, Brie & cranberry toasted sandwich, which came with crisps & salad garnish. Good quality food at a good price. Will be back soon.

We as a family love coming here, when my grandchildren are at school my daughter and myself come for lunch when I'm not working.. this week grandchildren were with us, and every member of visible staff checked they were ok, gave them colouring sheets to complete and made sure they asked them for their orders, they both felt so happy to be included. The Olive Tree Cafe is a Charity (Recovery Tree).... and its great to see people blossom as they gain confidence to take orders, serve at table and take on cooking skills. It's a calm environment and has a lovely outside area for spring and summer dining and every now and then a piano player provides a lovely musical backdrop... It is always a pleasure to have a drink and maybe a meal at the Olive Tree. I meet various people, individuals and groups, there because of the.general ambience, tasty food and good value.
The only suggestion I would make is that just a couple of the waiting staff have a little more training in not placing a tray of tea/coffee down saying “There you are” and walking back to the kitchen. Just a friendly smile or maybe, “Excuse me, your drinks”. This is suggested as a helpful suggestion, but I appreciate that maybe fine tuning our communication skills is not everyone’s cup of tea!!

Love Olive Tree cafe. Easy to book. We waited a while to order hence lower service rating but we were told later if there are only two in a party food can be requested at the till rather than waiting at the table.

We booked a table for a birthday breakfast, 12 people 6 adults and 6 children.. what a lovely time we had.. very relaxed, food was great.. children's breakfast was perfect .. we were even entertained by a piano player.. who on request played Happy birthday.. we would thoroughly recommend The Olive Tree For breakfast, lunch , tea and cake ..
