The whole experience was amazing and the food was so so sumptuous, chock-full of flavour and the railway carriage was decked out so beautifully. I especially loved the Carousel. The ambience of the restaurant is top notch. It feels like going back in time to an old time dining car. There is nostalgic French music in the background. The servers were very attentive and patient as well.
Finally, the food was fantastic. i had a prime rib and my wife had the duck confit. The food was arranged beautifully on the plate and tasted marvelous. I was recommended the restaurant by my hotel. The Ft. Garry as I requested a go to Winnipeg dining experience, since I am from out of town. We certainly had the experience we hoped for!

My meal was very good. Others in my group said their meals were just okay. The service was very good. I liked the way we were seated no other customers were seated to the side or in front or behind us. We were almost finished when a couple came in and the lady kept coughing. So I felt very comfortable with the seating arrangement.

Thank you! My friends and I had a wonderful time in the train, our waiter was most attentive, and the food was delicious. However, one of your other waiters was conversing so very loudly with a couple of ladies a few tables over that it was most distracting and impeded our conversation (that is why I gave a rating of 8 otherwise it would have been a 10). We will most definitely come again to enjoy a few more of your delicious entrees!

A great experience at RestoGareBistro. Our waiter, Matthieu, was great. The Tourtiere was perfect, as was the French Onion Soup. Fantastic comfort food and a great atmosphere. Will definitely revisit, only next time we’ll change it up and try dinner in the train car. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was very good & the staff were friendly. The service was a bit slow & we were never asked if we wanted coffee or tea, so we had coffee when we got home. All in all it was pretty good & we will go there again.

Our dinner at Resto Gare was fantastic. Our server, Matthieu A, was very attentive and made sure we had everything that needed. The food was amazing, great portions, very delicious and well priced. We can't wait to come back soon.
