We had the best and nicest waiter in the world. 15 out of 10. Service was excellent. Bartender was awesome, cooks were excellent and we even got a complimentary dessert. OMG. I have been to Rudy's many many times and will visit over and over again. Alway a great atmosphere.

The food has improved dramatically since we were here last ( about 9-12 months ago). It is almost back up to the very good pre-Covid quality. The restaurant decor is distinctly MCM and very chic. We dined on the patio which was slightly noisy due to rush hour traffic. The seating is comfy, service was friendly and efficient, and the FOOD! Soooo good!!! The French onion soup is delish and steak sandwich is YUM! My picky mother thoroughly enjoyed it too. Highly recommend!

First time eating here before a concert. The food and experience were very good. We didn’t give all 10s because my husband’s meal wasn’t hot, the burger was ok but the fries were cold. Our server was very quick to replace the fries which were much better. We were surprised when we got our bill his meal was taken off. We appreciated the gesture as it wasn’t something we asked for or expected and we’ll be back.

Came for dinner before a Jets game. Sat in the lounge. Everything was great and the food was much better than we expected for "burger grub". Prices very reasonable in this post-covid age also.
One weird thing: we booked online, wanted a table at 5:00 but could only get either 4:45 or 5:15. Took 5:15, got there at 5:10, got seated right away and the lounge was two thirds empty.

Strong attentiveness from the serving staff, including request for hot fries to be ensured, which was fulfilled...a big little thing that matters.
Old-fashioned cocktail was also well prepared after instruction for minimal sweetness was received and relayed by serving staff to the drink-maker.

We had wonderful service and the food arrived well prepared and presented. It was also at a reasonable price point. There could be a larger selection of wines by the glass and the cosmo cocktails were not very good. They tasted made with a mix maybe?? But a good experience overall.

Service was a bit slow, but nothing unexpected due to the event night. I would make it a priority to ensure the walkway doors stay unlocked until game time as we aren't willing to make the outdoor walk in the winter, but would love to continue to come.

Overall a lovely evening out at Rudy's! The front hostess with a bit snarky - I gave her my first name and she kept asking me if it was under another name. I said No I made the reservations under my name. She finally found the reservations under my last name. She could have clarified that she was looking for my LAST name and I would have gladly given it up front. Other than that, our serving staff was top notch! Friendly, attentive, speedy and when we needed clarification on how a menu item was prepared they went above and beyond to speak with the Chef who was also willing to make a slight accommodation to the menu item. Really Appreciated that! The food was delicious! Tried several different menu items and all tasted really good and were Instagram worthy! The music was a bit loud in there but maybe that's because it wasn't too busy. The menu prices were a bit different from what we ended up paying in the end. Just would have liked some consistency before ordering so we know how much things cost. Overall, good experience and we will be back.
