Wonderful! The staff could not have been any more helpful or friendly. We arrived early and were seated immediately in the library - a cute quiet side area. Service was quick, staff very knowledgeable and the food was delicious! The owner routinely checked on everyone. Loved the experience and will definitely be back!

Thank you for a wonderful time! We made a day of lounging in the Chateau, lunch, wine tasting and more lounging before driving to catch our flight. Definitely will repeat in the future.
One improvement: back porch of the Chateau...sweep, blow off, pressure wash, get rid of the plants growing up into it and chase off the spiders. It's a great place to sit and relax, just needs a little more prep and buff.

I was very impressed and have told many friends they need to visit. Loved the wine (only tried red), the setting, the energy and enthusiasm by staff, and the brand execution. We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting at JoLo and purchased some special wines. We did not eat in the restaurant but the menu looked great and the outdoor seating comfortable and shaded with umbrellas with a gorgeous pastoral surrounding with mountains in the distance.

My wife and I first stumbled upon JOLO winery in April, 2014, the year it opened. We had a magical experience then; we were sitting outside with our son who was visiting us, all the other customers were seated in the indoor dining room, and we were left to enjoy a beautiful Spring evening, a candlelit candelabra on the table, and several very green but very sweet servers waiting on us. Although we had arrived in our hiking clothes, knowing nothing about the place, and had walked into the foyer to find the wait staff in tuxes, and suggested to one of them that we were underdressed and would return another day, nonetheless, we were told we were fine and very welcome to stay. This recent visit, on the occasion of our 37th anniversary, we also had a wonderful experience, with many things having changed since 2014 including a more accessible menu (price-wise) but no less excellent, and a more casual, relaxed ambience, all welcome changes. We stayed until closing time after a fun wine tasting with the charming and enthusiastic sommelier, a delicious meal, and a very competent and friendly young man as our server, who had worked at JOLO since high school a few years ago. On this recent visit there were many more guests than back in 2014, a good number seated at several tables, in a greatly expanded and attractive outdoor seating area. The view of the green lawn sloping down to a pond, the valley spread out beyond, and an impressive view of the singular Pilot Mountain on the horizon, a truly lovely landscape that remained unchanged since our last visit. As for the wines, they are without doubt the best we have tasted in North Carolina, and frankly, in my experience, they rival many others wines from both the U.S. and abroad. It is no wonderful the JOLO wines have won an impressive number of prizes during the past few years. We are grateful to all at JOLO’s who worked to make our special day even more so, a perfect end to our anniversary celebrations.

the winery was great, people, customer service, our groups only drawback was the price of the tasting and how expensive the wine is. I guess everyone is trying to recoup since Covid 19 but wine tastings prior to were $7-$10.00 including glass. Yours are $20 with no glass and $40 with the glass. We had a great time and enjoyed the view, we will be back. Thank you very much for our wonderful service

Amazing place, Fabulous wines, the staff was professional, knowledgeable, and very amiable. Even the owner of the vineyard himself made us feel like family. We had to change our day plans the day we visited JOLO and the hostess and staff were so accommodating regarding moving our reservation time. The staff was very cordial and knowledgeable. Went over Labor Day weekend. Was busy but lively. Our server was Catie Nichols who made sure we were taken of! She helped us transition from lunch to tastings. Outdoor seating was fabulous and already exhibits social distancing requirements/interests. Would highly recommend

Anna was amazing!!! Very knowledgeable about the wines and all the staff was so nice and friendly. We were there during the limo fire but the staff remained calm. It was a warm day out it would have been nice to have working fans while dining outside. Salad was reasonably priced but more like a chicken breast and a side of salad or 1 leaf of romaine chopped. Wine is amazing and made the entire experience! We loved our wine tasting and the person who assisted us was awesome

We really enjoyed our visit. The only thing I would suggest is to have some type of non-alcoholic beverage besides water (tea, coffee). This is especially true when only coming to enjoy a meal.

This was our first time ever doing a wine tasting. My wife and I were very impressed with all aspects of our visit. The property was beautiful. Everyone was friendly and they were very accommodating to move our lunch reservations up. The wine was exceptional and the food was well prepared and tasted great.

Great tasting. Enjoyed Samira (I think was her name). The process was seamless. The only concern was the group that was in the private room right beside where we were tasting and they were coming in/out of that room without masks and that made us a bit uncomfortable.

The tasting room is spacious and beautiful. Tasting Associate, Anna, was very engaging and informative. The picnic tables outside sit very low. My suggestion would be to have outside seating that is more comfortable.

Erica was our "Tasting Guide" and she was fantastic...good sense of humor, great personality, very knowledgeable and made our experience very enjoyable! First time dining at the restaurant at JOLO. My lunch companion and I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. The food was well presented and perfectly cooked and the staff were very attentive and receptive to our needs. We will make the dining experience a part of our "Wine Tasting" date days. Highly recommend this restaurant especially with the views of the majestic mountains and manicured grounds.
