We are a historic bar paying homage to one of the first groceries Winston-Salem/ West End area had in the early 1890s; this store was called Joyner's Grocery. The original walls and ceilings in place fit right into the speak-easy vibe of the joint, right down to the classic cocktails we feature on our menu. Come check us out as we are your friendly neighborhood bar, in historic West End, Winston-Salem.

Didn't have food so can't rate it. The distancing and masking re: COVID weren't very strictly enforced but it was pretty quiet and the drinks were good and fairly priced. Bartender gave a great drink rec, too!

Only open a week and already a lot of attention. Bar staff were excellent and we felt very welcomed by the host/manager. Very nice classic bar setting and ambiance. It’s the kind of place you want to have a drink in and talk or forget about the day.

Really enjoyed he atmosphere and the drinks were fantastic. It did take 20-30 mins to get our drinks after ordering (we had to stay behind after our friends left just waiting for drinks we’d ordered long before). I hope they’ll be able to find a solution to this minor issue... overall a fantastic new place and experience!

It was overall a great experience and we will be back! It did take almost 30 minutes for us to get our check and pay and we almost missed our dinner reservations somewhere else however it was the first night and we did enjoy our server she was just really busy!! Maybe add one more waitstaff and another bartender? Kudos though!
