Enjoyed lunch yesterday, Fri, Jan 19. The Cubano sandwiches also became our dinner. So delicious! As was Ceaser salad and chowder soup. Surprised that no tap beer available! Always a great meal!

Love the ambiance and brunch was just fantastic. French toast, normally a requisite staple that receives little culinary attention, is perfectly done and accompanied by potatoes AND sausage AND bacon and fluffy scrambled eggs, all deserving of their own rave reviews. The Cobb salad was a pleaser, and the shrimp and grits had compliments from the southerner at the table. Waitstaff was great… what a treat!

My husband and I had the perfect evening/dinner at J’s. From the minute we walked in and were seated at our favorite table to the simultaneous delivery of Kristine’s most excellent icy cold martini, which she knows we love, to out of this world delicious food; quite large portions, beautifully presented, Hot! and every bite a treat.
Everything was just right….. a romantic evening out, just what we had hoped for and they made it happen. J’s was busy when we arrived at 6pm but they make you feel like you are the only ones there, like you matter. Kristine has mastered the art of knowing when to come to one’s table and when to leave you alone for a bit.
J’s is relaxing because you don’t have to worry about a thing. As for the ambiance, it is quiet, lighting is just right as was the temperature and it’s just pretty and cozy without being cramped. I think everyone should treat themselves to dinner at J’s. I give them all the stars in the sky ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We feel very fortunate to have a restaurant as lovely as J’s in our town. The beautiful ambience, the very good service, and the enticing menu, makes it such an enjoyable evening. The atmosphere and ambience could not have been better! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The only 2 criticisms I can make are that the pea pods in my tofu dish were so fibrous they were inedible. And I was so excited for the fresh peaches in my burrata salad, but the only flavor they had was that of the grill. But those 2 minor things did not dampen our evening! Just mentioning because you asked.

Phenomenal experience all around. We showed up 90 minutes early (planned to have a flight at Vintner’s Knoll and sit outside, but they were closed), and were still seated right away, service was prompt, knowledgeable about the wines and the menu, and very friendly. The starters were excellent, and I loved my swordfish. Birthday candle in my lemon raspberry cake was a great little touch- I wasn’t expecting it, but made me feel special! We’re already planning on coming back with more guests!

We visited J's for their Mother's Day Brunch. What an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was exceptional with very generous portions. Choices were all healthful and tasty. Cocktails were well made and the wines are excellent, all made at the winery next door. Service was great. Staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. All our needs were met, cheerfully. The ambience is relaxed, but "crisp." Starched table linens and china, but with a low-key vibe. Absolutely my highest recommendation!

The swordfish was tender and perfectly cooked. The roasted root salad was extremely flavorful and the portion was large which I always prefer. The wild mushroom tart was tasty but if I am to be critical perhaps could have been served a little warmer. A new experience was drinking the strawberry rhubarb wine which I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend. The staff were very personable and courteous. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

What an excellent Easter brunch experience we had at J’s ! The staff from hostess to table runner were professional and friendly. Our waitress was perfect. The 3 course meal was delicious and diverse. The complimentary mimosa was a lovely touch, the wine options are plentiful and our choices were pleasing to the palate.
My only concern is that word is going spread about this lovely gem of an Easter brunch venue and it may be difficult to access a table in the future!!!

We loved everything about our dinner at J's, but our server, Mary, was a real standout. Charming and helpful, she had an almost magical ability to be there exactly enough while still giving us ample privacy.

J’s is awesome! My favorite place to go with friends and family. You can actually have a conversation because it is small and not noisy. Everything I have ever had there was wonderful. I am hoping that one day soon they will bring back Sunday brunch.

We had a fantastic dinner. The food was excellent and we loved the quiet holiday atmosphere to enjoy dinner with our sons. One met us there from his college and it was a great place to meet and enjoy dinner together. We will be back.
