All reservations are for inside seating. Should the weather cooperate, outside seating will be offered only to those with reservations inside and then on a first-come, first-served basis. We apologized, but unfortunately, due to an unsustainable increase in no-show reservations, while operating at limited capacity, we are now collecting a non-refundable booking fee of $10.00 per person for all reservations. The booking fee will be automatically applied to your bill on the date of service.
Service and food was excellent. Was dark and rainy when there, but seems to have a beautiful and scenic view. Will be back
Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants. I've never had a bad meal and I love the wine pairings from Nashoba Valley winery.
My friends and I could not have been happier with the outdoor atmosphere. We started with seasonal appletini, the apple was from their orchard. The food was amazing from the hummus plate appetizer, swordfish entree and the tiramisu desert all paired with the wine from the vineyard. The service was excellent. We will be back and are recommending J’s to our friends and family.
It is a great restaurant and great food as well as service.
Our server was friendly, attentive and hospitable...the food was wonderful and the whole experience great!
Creative menu. Interesting wine pairings. Service was friendly and attentive.
Loved it! Ambience, service, and food was fabulous. Hostess was phenomenal.
We brought good friends to J’s. They loved it. Our server was fantastic, service was excellent and food was delish.
We can’t wait to return. Everything from the waiter to the food was outstanding!
We had a wonderful time dining at J’s . The food was delicious. The staff as usual were knowledgeable and very friendly. J’s is our favorite place to celebrate and enjoy a perfect meal.
Amazing as always! Our service impeccable, food delicious and beautifully prepared, and ambiance spectacular.
Quaint atmosphere, bucolic setting, healthy portions of food though the bread could have had olive oil with it instead of butter. or not served at all. Did not enhance the excellent food. Otherwise the pork chop was juicy and golden potatoes puree was fresh and tasted. The tiramisu was the best choice for desert. Just going to J's for the tiramisu is worth the trip.
Amazing as always. Thanks!
Wonderful server with great suggestions! Food was amazing and so was the whole experience!
I love J's. I would go every week if I could! Food is always wonderful and service is great. It is such a pretty spot. It is quiet and relaxing.
Hard to imagine a better dining experience in these times. Thank you!
Our dining experience at J's was incredible. We sat on the patio under a wisteria arbor and enjoyed delicious food and local wine. Our appetizers were awesome and our swordship entrees were superb. We will return to this local gem.
Really nice job! Thank you, Kyle, for your wonderful service ;)!
You can count on J's Restaurant to be what you hope for and expect. Beautiful setting. Good service. Much, much better than average food for a very good restaurant [I've never experienced a food 10 anywhere. But "you don't have to be perfect in order to be excellent."]. A consistently good place to dine. And to buy some excellent wine to bring home.
Tremendous as always
Wonderful as always!
We appreciate the way that J's was able to place tables outside so that you felt comfortable, yet socially distant. Our server was outstanding and she took care of us without be intrusive. The table decor (jar with a small tea light) was kind of cheesy and could be a lot more creative.
Great food and drinks. Beautiful location and excellent service. Highly recommend for special occasions
Everything was great Food was amazing.
We just loved being outside. The front dinning area was just beautiful. Nicely done! The background music was perfect. The wait staff were very attentive. The food was delicious. Couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate an anniversary.
First visit and we loved it!! We’ll certainly be back.
What I loved was the ambiance of your outdoor dining. With the corona virus, the outdoor dining was set up exceptionally. Felt so comfortable. Thank you. We will be returning.
We had a great experience! Food was amazing, wine was fantastic, staff was very friendly and helpful, and it was a quiet and peaceful place to get away. Highly recommended!
The outside tables were very far from each other and we felt very safe. The wine pairings were spot on and my swordfish was cooked to absolute perfection.
Everything was beautiful. The late summer evening was atmospheric; the patio, covered in an arbor with vines, was soothing; the view looking out over the hills and vineyards was stunning, the food was creative and delicious; the service was excellent. Loved it!
Lovely dining experience for a special birthday. We ate outdoors along a garden path and it was beautiful. The food and service were excellent.
Ambience was still great under Covid-19 restrictions but of course it wasn't perfect.
It was a great night! Everyone did such a good job, even with the current restrictions, and hte food was just as good as I remember. Bravo!
Wonderful experience, server was great and food was great. We did notice the pricing for the wines 6 oz. verse 9 oz. was off.... some of the 9 oz. were more expensive per ounce than the 6 oz. of literally the same wine. Weird math going on there.
Awesome! Apps and deserts and drinks are terrific! Food very good! Atmosphere was the loveliest ever! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening-we’ll be back! Hope you open for lunch soon
Very good dinner in pleasant sumertime surroundings.
The food and wine were both incredible, the patio was romantic and lent itself to a lovely meal.
It was a beautiful atmosphere, wonderful service, and the most delicious food! We visited during the early phases of reopening after the COVID19 pandemic and they took the best care and precautions when seating people with lots of space and cleanliness. Everything about this restaurant is perfect for a special evening out!
Still one my favorite places due to ambience and wine selection. I was a little disappointed by the limited menu. It’s understandable due to Covid restrictions, but the selection was not as good for me as in previous years. The quality and service was still there though!
We have been going to Js for years and it never disappoints. We ate inside and felt very safe. We have noticed that their wines continue to get better. As vegetarians we appreciate the fact that they always have at least one entree that is vegetarian or vegan.
Wonderful meal for both of us, totally enjoyed the outdoor experience! Parking was a bit confusing with the cones blocking the restaurant parking lot.
My sea bass was very overdone. I was hungry and ate it. It was a special occasion dinner so I didn’t want to complain. The grilled vegetables were too vinegary for my taste and I would have salted my dinner more if a salt shaker was on the table. The wait staff were superb and the drinks were terrific. The ambiance was wonderful and we got some really special sunset pictures. Thanks very much. :)
The reservation experience was confusing. We were not able to reserve an out of door table on line. When I called they said they cannot do that but most likely would be able to get one. When we arrived and we saw an empty table that we would like, we were told it was reserved for some one else, which confused us. But we were seated at the table of our choice and CDC the service and food were excellent. They paid great attention to COVID safety and even provided bug spray!! Thank you for a lovely evening.
Waitress seems overorked
We were seated at an outdoor table in a beautiful kitchen garden, and as it got later we saw a lovely sunset and then stars. Lots of outdoor tables. Service was impeccable. Everyone observed Covid precautions. I had grilled swordfish, the hubby had duck with plum sauce. Both were tasty, but the five stars go to the tuna tartare app, and the red velvet cake dessert. It was our anniversary, but I’d go back for any occasion! Bravo!
Food was great - nice selection especially with limited service due to COVID-19. We miss the prix fixe menu but something to look forward to. We had the cowboy steak, duck breast, and striped bass and chicken. All were excellent. The Humus platter was a good choice for the table. Didn't care much for the lavender martini - I couldn't pick up much flavor.
Love this place. The setting is great and the food even better. Wild boar chop was fantastic and the polenta and asparagus that came with it were excellent. We also had the sea bass- another amazing choice. Each of the wines we had was great too- the estate Chardonnay and Cab Franc. We purchased a bottle of each to take home. The only drawback is that a 9 oz. pour for wine made on-site was $18. Also, it would be nice if there was some low music while eating outdoors. Those are minor drawbacks, however as our overall experience was terrific. We will be back again soon. Thank you!
