It was originally built as a residence in 1897 by the Mann Brothers who operated a sawmill back by our waterfall. It has since been a boarding house over the years run by the German's, Norwegian's & Italian's. For a long time it was known as George & Lil's who lived here and ran it from the late fifties to the early eighties. It was also briefly known as Bruno's Italian Restaurant for two years in the mid-eighties.
