The Rose Villa Restaurant was established in 1928 in the heart of scenic Portage Lakes, between Akron and Canton, Ohio. From the beginning, it quickly became famous for its fresh lake perch dinners. This tasty local tradition expanded in 1974 when Domenic and Anna Fana purchased the restaurant and renamed it Domenic’s Rose Villa. Today, while still famous for our fresh pike dinners, we’re even more popular for our fine Italian cuisine, fresh seafood, excellent steaks, and freshly baked homemade pies. We pride ourselves in using the finest available products, expertly prepared, for your ultimate dining pleasure. Anna continues to create our signature pasta sauce, meatballs, desserts and more, running the day-to-day operations together with her son Domenic, daughters Linda and Rita, and an impressive, welcoming staff. We enjoyed ourselves to the fullest! The bar decor was nostalgic & its history was shown. Our bartender/server was very pleasant and made our time there so comfortable! The food was delicious! We had the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. Our main entrees were gnocchi and walleye. They came with a healthy salad (dark greens, beets, etc.) and homemade bread. We took chocolate and banana cream pie home for dessert. Yum!

Domenic's Rose Villa has become our go-to restaurant. Came with 5 of us. 2 were from Kent and neve rhad been there. They loved it. Liked all the fish selections and thought their salads and meals were excellent...and the service was 5-star.

Been coming here for 13 years ever since moving to the Lakes. We were very good customers to Dontino's but no longer. We do miss seeing Anna and have never met the new owners. We only come in now a couple/few times a month. I will say the service is much better in the main dining room than it is in the "sun room".

The bad, they didn't seem to know we had a reservation. Steak ordered rare was clearly well done. Some food was just warm, need better timing on getting all orders done together. Service fine, politeness fine, value fine. Definitely would return to try other menu items which look interesting. Oh calamari was fantastic!!
