Allusion Speakeasy is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and we are a revolving popup concept. Our eastside location is on the powers corridor and our west location is in downtown Colorado Springs. Allusion Bar changes their theme every quarter, delivering a new experience, cocktail menu, seasonal cuisine themed and décor.

What is an ALLUSION?

An allusion is a figure of speech or a reference to a place, person, or event. This can be real or imaginary and may refer to anything, including fiction, folklore, historical events, or religious manuscripts. The reference can be direct or may be inferred, and can broaden a person's understanding. We are Allusion Bar and we welcome you to experience our creative happy place.

Reservations

Booking Notes:

Reservations are free, but we hold a credit card for your table. For all bookings there is a $15 minimum per person. If you do not cancel 6 hours prior to your booking, or if you abandon your reservation, the card on file will be charged a fee of $15 per person +20% tip. There are no refunds on that policy. We do not accept parties larger than 8 people on weekends. Private parties are available by filling out the private event form on our website.

I have paid the same amount for drinks that aren’t half as cool as the ones they make at allusion! Also every time that I have been the service have been very nice and attentive. Both of our bartenders on January 3rd were awesome and always came in clutch with great recommendations!

I went specifically for the Nightmare Before Christmas theme and I was delighted with the entire experience. I don't go to bars but the small room with limited seating really lessened the normal overwhelming feeling of a bar. It wasn't too loud so I was able to talk with my friends. The food was really good and the themed menu was perfect. I visited with my sister, who is also a huge Nightmare Before Christmas fan, and we were amazed with the attention to detail and the thoroughness of the decor. I live about 45 minutes away from the Powers Allusions but I'm going to try to go again before the year is over because I want to share this experience with my other Nightmare friends.

My friend and I have been going to Allusion (on Tejon) and we always enjoy the different pop-up themes, especially Harry Potter. We finally made plans to check out the Powers location, and we were pleasantly surprised by how much we loved the ambience and the overall experience! We liked that we could order food as well. My friends and I really enjoyed it! I loved the Alice in Wonderland theme and all of the beautiful decor. Our waiter was very sweet and accommodating, since my friends and I aren’t big drinkers he offered to get us delicious mocktails instead.
