Allusion Speakeasy is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and we are a revolving popup concept. Our eastside location is on the powers corridor and our west location is in downtown Colorado Springs. Allusion Bar changes their theme every quarter, delivering a new experience, cocktail menu, seasonal cuisine themed and décor.
What is an ALLUSION?
An allusion is a figure of speech or a reference to a place, person, or event. This can be real or imaginary and may refer to anything, including fiction, folklore, historical events, or religious manuscripts. The reference can be direct or may be inferred, and can broaden a person's understanding. We are Allusion Bar and we welcome you to experience our creative happy place.
Reservations
Booking Notes:
Reservations are free, but we hold a credit card for your table. For all bookings there is a $15 minimum per person. If you do not cancel 6 hours prior to your booking, or if you abandon your reservation, the card on file will be charged a fee of $15 per person +20% tip. There are no refunds on that policy. We do not accept parties larger than 9 people on weekends. Private parties are available by emailing [email protected] or messaging us on Facebook messenger.

Our little party of three came for brunch and was not disappointed! At first, we were assigned to sit at the bar, but I really wanted a table instead. The last few times we came, we were sat at the bar and we wanted a different perspective and an easier way to talk amongst ourselves. The staff were very accommodating and kind and we were able to switch to a table. The service was great, but the food and drinks were just superb!! Icing on the cake was able to watch the end of LOTR 1 and beginning of 2 while being there!

Overall we loved it. I’ve been two other times and the food was great. The ambiance was incredible and service was outstanding. Not sure if it was an off day but my husband and I both ordered second breakfast. The eggs were very undercooked- not how I’d describe “jammy”. I ate my plate bc the couple behind us had just complained about the same dish and I felt bad for the server. Overall I’m fine with a runny egg but even these were undercooked not runny IMO. The potatoes were largely inedible bc they were charred- beyond just even burned. I picked most of the potatoes out. My husband mentioned his potatoes were also burned. I think the dish has a lot of potential but the execution wasn’t there. I also wish there was more than one gluten free option. My son loved his French fries and my husband enjoyed the donut holes.

Honestly, everything seemed like it had absence or some kind of licorice so all the drinks kinda taste the same there was no fun things like fire or like you’ve had in the past. It just seemed kind of boring. I mean the atmosphere was awesome, but I really expected more from the drink drinks.

Service was really really great and very attentive. Drinks were very unique and tasty. A bit overpriced and stand to use a little bit of lowering on the drink side. We come in there once a year because it’s not a place you can drink every week. A bit too much for 2 people to have two drinks and an app a drop a Benjamin is a lot.

Our waitress looked like she hated her life the whole time. There were people ordering the "players gonna play" $1 shots for everyone and she was visibly annoyed. I don't know if the waitresses can switch out with the otherside if they've had enough, but maybe that would have helped. The ambiance was amazing and we enjoyed the drinks. Y'all killed it with the decor and we loved there was a designed place to take photos. I know it was a coincidence yall did this theme at the same time she released a new album, but I think it would have been cool if for the weekend you only played her new album. Still very much enjoyed the music and music videos playing.

Our visit on Saturday was both of our first times to Allusion and it exceeded any expectations we had. The ambiance and the visuals of the space were spectacular. Thank you SO MUCH for FINALLY doing an all ages so my son could come. He absolutely LOVED it! It was a hit and everything was wonderful even though the Butterbeer Broomsticks were a little on the burnt side. The food was AMAZING!!!!!! More Butterbeer less ice would be nice too for almost 15.00 bucks. We still had a wonderful time and will be back!!!!
