Allusion Speakeasy is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and we are a revolving popup concept. We now have two locations in Colorado Springs. Our eastside location is on the powers corridor and our west location is in downtown Colorado Springs. Allusion Bar changes their theme every quarter, delivering a new experience, cocktail menu, and décor.

What is an ALLUSION?

An allusion is a figure of speech or a reference to a place, person, or event. This can be real or imaginary and may refer to anything, including fiction, folklore, historical events, or religious manuscripts. The reference can be direct or may be inferred, and can broaden a person's understanding. We are Allusion Bar and we welcome you to experience our creative happy place.

Reservations

Booking Notes:

Reservations are free, but a credit card hold is required. For all bookings there is a $15 minimum pp. If you do not cancel 6 hours prior to your booking, or if you abandon your reservation, the card on file will be charged $15 per person +20% tip. There are no refunds on that policy. Reservations larger than 9 people on weekends will be charged a non-refundable fee of $20. Private event requests are available upon reaching out to us on Facebook messenger or [email protected].

Amazing themed space hidden in The Wobbly Olive, currently Friends theme, with everything Friends related! The Friends food menu is very small, and the servings are small, but good. Food from the main menu from the Wobbly Olive is also available. The creativity of the names of the food items and the drinks are top notch. Don't miss the turkey at the bar! Very fun evening!

We did not try any food but the bar was incredible. They really made you feel like you were in the TV show that it was themed around. Drinks were amazing and clearly the individuals who crafted them had a lot of pride in doing so, and it was very well noticed. Everyone, both employees and patrons, was so kind and respectful of the small space. A 10/10 cocktail experience

Such a great experience! I have always been a HUGE fan of Friends and when I saw this new theme for April, also my birthday month, I knew I had to check it out. Such great attention to detail with the decorations, drink containers, drink names, etc. Pricier than we were anticipating but totally worth it!

I actually can't comment on the food because I didn't order food, but I didn't want to give you a zero either. Between the three of us, we had an amazing time. However only one of us it seemed got our drinks correct. Mine was missing dragon fruit, and my friends had some missing ingredients as well. However, the staff were amazing and replacing our drinks on the house to make sure that we were satisfied. Thank you this was a great time!

Once patrons who overstayed their time allotment gave up the table, all went well. Staff also kept us apprised of progress prior to being seated. Love what you guys do! LOTR is a family favorite! The overall atmosphere of our experience was truly magical. We tried several of the drinks, and both the bartender and server were more than adept at their roles in providing amazing service and great quality drinks. The decor was so perfect. No expense was spared in providing an immersion into the LOTR world. My only complaint is the lack of food options. There were only two options and the one we chose was not our favorite. It was a charred beet hummus, which was fine, but the pickled vegetables served with it were so acidic that they were not enjoyable and almost painful to eat. Everything else was terrific. Would definitely return!!

The drinks were very well crafted & the presentation was superb. They were strong as well so overall worth the price. My wife and I had a great time at Allusions Speakeasy Bar. The Harry Potter Theme was fun and enjoyable. The Butter Beer was amazing, and is certainly one of my favorites. The food is good for being a bar but lets admit we do not go to a bar for the food. In the end, my wife and I are excited to visit Allusions Speakeasy again.

Bless their hearts, there were only three people working! I learned that they weren't supposed to be open, but people made reservations and they didn't want to cancel. Next time just send a text and cancel. Those poor people! This place is awesome and a cancelled reservation wouldn't keep me from coming back. I'm actually thinking of applying to be a server there!

Absolutely amazing experience! My boyfriend and I came here for a date night and had a great time. The drinks were all themed and so unique and fun. The decorations were great and the music was awesome. Bartenders were very friendly and attentive. We loved the Harry Potter theme and are excited to come back for the next theme change! We ordered some food from the place next door and it was also very tasty! Can't wait to be back!

Didn't have any food. Our third visit to Allusion, the atmosphere/ambiance was amazing as usual. The staff is always friendly, only reason we marked the 'Service' down slightly on this trip (compared to the previous two) was because it was very busy and the waiter couldn't come around very often. The drinks are always delicious and fun, albeit a little pricey. Will definitely return!

Great experience. Staff were engaging & attentive. Cocktails were so much fun. As a vegetarian, the food at most places is carrot & celery sticks, but here, the appetizers & food were incredible & they had a menu for vegetarians & vegan friendly. Looking forward to going back. Overall a wonderful experience in Wonderland.

Overall experience once at Allusion was wonderful. My family and I had a great time - the drink offerings were diverse and allowed each of us (with very different likes/dislikes) to have an enjoyable experience. My only complaint is that I had originally booked a reservation for the week of December 26th prior to learning that Allusion would be closed that week for renovations. The day before our December 27 reservation, I got a text confirming my reservation and, thankfully, double checked Allusion's website. I noticed it said the location was closed, so I switched my reservation for the following week. I would recommend double checking and letting guests know if their reservation conflicts with a time the location is closed to minimize confusion. I know it can be hard to predict, especially since I booked 1 month in advance. Thanks!

So happy to have such a unique bar in town. The servers are always fun & the drinks are delicious. You can tell a lot of creativity and time went into the menus and decor. I LOVE Allusion!

Loved it. Star Wars was such a fun thematic. Excited to come back for Alice in Wonderland. If you ever redo themes, would very much love to revisit Harry Potter. James Bond would be another theme suggestion. Keep it up! We will be back.

Absolutely loved the stranger things theme. One bartender in particular made the experience very fun and lively with the D&D dice and interacting with my friends and I. The cocktails were delicious. Both locations were pretty easy to find.
