Current theme (Downtown COS): Star Wars Opens April 9th. This theme is expected to run for 90 days, theme closing dates are announced on facebook a couple weeks before the expected end date.

ABOUT US

Allusion Speakeasy is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and we are a revolving popup concept with two locations. Our eastside location is on the powers corridor and our west location is in downtown Colorado Springs. Allusion Bar changes their theme every quarter, delivering a new experience, cocktail menu, and décor.

What is an ALLUSION?

An allusion is a figure of speech or a reference to a place, person, or event. This can be real or imaginary and may refer to anything, including fiction, folklore, historical events, or religious manuscripts. The reference can be direct or may be inferred, and can broaden a person's understanding. We are Allusion Bar and we welcome you to experience our creative happy place.

Reservations

Booking Notes:

Reservations are free, but a credit card hold is required. For all bookings there is a $15 minimum pp. If you do not cancel 6 hours prior to your booking, or if you abandon your reservation, the card on file will be charged $15 per person +20% tip. There are no refunds on that policy. Reservations larger than 9 people on weekends will be charged a non-refundable fee of $20. Private event requests are available upon reaching out to us on Facebook messenger or [email protected].

Kelly and the other staff were great. They really seem to enjoy working there, too, which really makes the experience that much better. The decor was great, including the barware, movies playing, and wall art. I can't recommend it highly enough to everyone I meet. We've done 2 different themes and can't wait to check out more.

Our order went to another table. That was fun. It happened while our server stepped away, and another server grabbed it. If i had to guess, the kitchen didn't make two - but rather "deduped" the orders. We weren't charged for it, but it was a definite miss unfortunately. It won't prevent us from future events though - those things happen.

You guys always do so well with the theme. Stranger Things was no exception. 10/10 for the whole vibes of the bar. The drinks were so good and the food was delicious. My 10 year old son and I brought my mom to the Stranger Things themed Brunch downtown recently. It was her first Allusion brunch, and she lived the experience. The decor was excellent and very different than the Powers location, which my son loved. The food and drinks were excellent. The staff was wonderful and attentive, despite there being only one person running the dining area that day. We will definitely continue to be frequent visitors.

Outstanding! I feel like Allusion could put forth half the effort and still be amazing. The attention to detail, amount of references, and sheer amount of work that goes into these themes is wonderful. Stranger things is my favourite show and this theme was so incredibly well done! The room was perfect, the decor was immersive, the food was delicious, the drinks were creative and delicious, and some of the tables were even arcade consoles! Well done!

I brought my sister here to celebrate her 21st birthday. She was so excited to come and can’t wait to come back. Our server (I’m sorry, I don’t remember her name but I remember her shirt was fashioned like it had claw marks on the back) was very helpful in determining which drinks my party and I would like best. I’ve visited the down location a few times with friends but visiting this time around with my son for the Jurassic World theme was by far the best. We had a delicious meal, dino-riffic drinks from the bar, and most importantly created a memory. I think hosting the 18-unders everyone few months, coupled with some kids only trivia would be amazing!

Amazing themed space hidden in The Wobbly Olive, currently Friends theme, with everything Friends related! The Friends food menu is very small, and the servings are small, but good. Food from the main menu from the Wobbly Olive is also available. The creativity of the names of the food items and the drinks are top notch. Don't miss the turkey at the bar! Very fun evening!

We did not try any food but the bar was incredible. They really made you feel like you were in the TV show that it was themed around. Drinks were amazing and clearly the individuals who crafted them had a lot of pride in doing so, and it was very well noticed. I actually can't comment on the food because I didn't order food, but I didn't want to give you a zero either. Between the three of us, we had an amazing time. However only one of us it seemed got our drinks correct. Mine was missing dragon fruit, and my friends had some missing ingredients as well. However, the staff were amazing and replacing our drinks on the house to make sure that we were satisfied. Thank you this was a great time!

Once patrons who overstayed their time allotment gave up the table, all went well. Staff also kept us apprised of progress prior to being seated. Love what you guys do! LOTR is a family favorite! We traveled from Nashville TN to enjoy and share the theme with family & friends! Atmosphere, props, food, service and beverages are amazing. Thank you!❣️

We were recommended by an Uber driver and could not be happier we were able to come check out Allusion. The overall atmosphere of our experience was truly magical. We tried several of the drinks, and both the bartender and server were more than adept at their roles in providing amazing service and great quality drinks. The decor was so perfect. No expense was spared in providing an immersion into the LOTR world. My only complaint is the lack of food options. There were only two options and the one we chose was not our favorite. It was a charred beet hummus, which was fine, but the pickled vegetables served with it were so acidic that they were not enjoyable and almost painful to eat. Everything else was terrific. Would definitely return!!

The drinks were very well crafted & the presentation was superb. They were strong as well so overall worth the price. The ambience was great & you can tell the staff put a lot of time & effort into decorating. The food consisted of simple tapas & that’s what you get, nothing extraordinary. The staff was nice & knowledgeable as well as the thankful for their customers! I can’t wait to go back when they do a new theme.

This was my first time at allusion, and it was great, the customer service was fantastic, he really spent the time talking with us and going over any questions we had. The food was delicious. My wife and I had a great time at Allusions Speakeasy Bar. The Harry Potter Theme was fun and enjoyable. The Butter Beer was amazing, and is certainly one of my favorites. The food is good for being a bar but lets admit we do not go to a bar for the food. In the end, my wife and I are excited to visit Allusions Speakeasy again.
