The Gamma Ray cocktail was perfect! The pacing was great. We did not feel rushed. We also loved the ambience. It was really nice having a conversation at dinner without shouting.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant. We decided to go that evening because the place was a participant in the local Restaurant Week promotion, which included a prix fixe dinner menu. We decided to select from that menu and we were very happy that we did, as all of the courses were very tasty and well-prepared. We will be returning to the restaurant, on my wife's birthday, to have brunch.

I was excited to take my friends to Antidote because i eaten with you before. But the hamburgers were not cooked like we requested. The medium was well done and the medium rare was not pink at all. We didn't complained . We also ordered bread and it came with two small pieces that did not look appetizing. Also one man ordered a salad and something else and it came before the other 4 peoples main course. The waiter should have asked if he wanted his ;meal to come with the others. My short ribs with pasta was good. I hope it was just a bad night for you because I know that you are new and need good words said about you. Good luck with the redoing of Ivy.

The wait time on the food was a bit long..some dishes were not consistent from the previous week. Avocado toast barely had any avocado on it, I think you should be able to taste the avocado. The Spanish tortilla, which was described as being a potato/leek tortilla didn’t seem to have hardly any potatoes in it. It was good, just different than expected. The oysters are delicious and consistent, even the kids loved them. Appreciated the flexibility on leaving fruit off of the pancakes for the slightly picky eaters of the group. The hamburger was delicious, the homemade, crispy potato chips on the side were amazing. The burrata salad was slightly different from a previous visit, it was served on a bed of kale before and today was a different green I believe. Our water glasses were kept full which was greatly appreciated. The forest dish was an interesting idea, I think it’s missing something, maybe just a sprinkle of salt to bring out all the flavors..? You guys are on the right track, please keep it up and continue perfecting those dishes! I can’t wait to try more!

We were the only guest dining this particular hour of the day and our food was not perfecto. The potatoes were good so I ordered more and they were not the same inconsistency. The second order was too salty and had a sauce drizzled over them. The Bacon was not cooked thoroughly and returned to come back extra crispy black. The pancakes were very dry possibly not enough custard or just no syrup was offered. The other dish was fine. I’m sure over time things will get better.

Cocktails were enjoyed. The meatballs were hit-and-miss, they had good flavor; however, there was a comment amongst the table that there was gristle and tasted like a sloppy Joe. The burger was good. The mushroom was lovely with the shaved asparagus, perhaps more asparaguswould have been nice. The chicken has moist, tender and had a great sauce. With the chicken dish, a vegetable on the plate was a missed opportunity. The dessert was delicious. Overall, a great experience; however, some of us in the party were still hungry and not completely satiated. We will come back-the experience and staff were wonderful!

Overall, we enjoyed our visit, and really want this place to succeed. This was closer to the kind of brunch experience/menu we want than we have experienced since moving to Michigan in 2022. We especially appreciate the vegetarian options. That said, there was considerable room for improvement. Spanish tortilla: we were expecting a potato and egg dish and were disappointed to receive essentially a light frittata without potato, but the caviar and goat cheese were nice. Prawns and grits: the grits could be smoother, there was too much of it, and we were expecting a considerably spicier and more interesting dish than we got. Lemon ricotta pancakes: we anticipated a lighter texture from a *ricotta pancake* rather than a regular pancake with ricotta on top. Ours were burnt, which would pair well with maple syrup but not with a brighter lemon/ blackberry dish. The lemon was not perceptible. The berry compote was nice. The cocktails were excellent. The floors were dirty, there were crumbs on my seat and in the banquets, my plate was dirty, and the darker finish in the flatware shows fingerprints exceptionally well. So much potential here, and a ways to go.

Some of the food was really quite spectacular. The mussels 10/10. The cauliflower 10/10. The roast chicken 10/10. It is rare nowadays to find such unique and well executed food. The trout was a beautiful dish, but the skin needs to be crisped up somehow. it was a little gummy. The bacalao could be great, but really needs some sort of acidic punch. I am excited to try the other dishes as i think you have done an excellent job in creating this menu. We really liked it. A couple other things we noticed that you might want to think about. The music selection seeemed counter to the vibe of the restaurant and was not relaxing. The restaurant was really cold, we had to keep our jackets on. The waiter was very nice and offered to turn the heat up, but that likely takes time in a big space like that. The only other thing was the table height in the booths was way too high. We really hope things go well for you. its a great concept!
