I was craving Korean food after a few days of traveling in UK and Dublin. I heard that this restaurant was the most authentic Korean tasting restaurant in Dublin. As a Korean American I must say that this restaurant did not disappoint. The taste was on point. The staff was great and the ambiance felt upscale without being stuffy. It was just what I needed.

Absolutely delicious! Very authentic-like Korean food. I loved the options there were and the food was cooked great. The Japchae was a bit different than usual and there was a lot of use of broccoli, but besides that it was superb. I would recommend going here if you're looking for tasty Korean food in Dublin!

We have been going to Kimchi for twenty years and it just gets better and better. The service, efficiency, friendliness stick out as well as the excellent food. Best of all is the lack of loud piped music, which in most places in Ireland these days is not the case and makes for unpleasant evenings out. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Kimchi is one of my favourite places in Dublin, and they took excellent care of us on this visit. We came with a large group and the staff were so friendly, patient and thorough with our order. The food was perfect as usual of course! The only thing I would probably improve is the music but that's just my personal taste :) thank you for a great experience!

I'll give it a 5 for a while. The way one of the waitresses handled the glass was so gross. Putting your fingers inside the glass or at the rim of the glass is so un-hygenic. Please do practice how to hold the glass while serving it to the customers.

There's a reason why Kim Chi is around for this long. The food is great. We keep going back simply because of this.
If there is a downside it is that because the place is somewhat small there are a lot of tables pretty close together. But that's a small price to pay for such amazing food

The food was as good as we excepted. Fair portion size. At first we were a bit disappointed because we were sat at the bar, even though we made a reservation two days beforehand, but after we asked if there really was no other table for us, we were being seated in the quieter part of the restaurant. The next time we come to Dublin we will be eating there again.

Have been going here for 20 years. Felt food was disappointing this time. Too sweet, not enough flavour. Even the kimchi tasted bland. Pity.

Our family’s favourite for birthday celebrations! Food is fab (Bulgogi, Bibembop and sushi are our faves). Service is efficient. Ambiance is funky. Good value comparatively.

Service was really slow with there being long lags between different people being served at the table. We had to ask for soy sauce. One dish was reported by the orderer as being downright unpleasant - the beef was more minced than pieces and there was a lot of fat present, she said. We said that to the server but there was no reaction or response. Spring rolls excellent, pumpkin dumplings very good but could have been better with a sauce, Bibimap with tofu very good. Tofu well coated with crispy batter but could have used more flavour. Staff pleasant if a bit relaxed about the service.

The menu has many options and offers something for everyone. The eatery had a lively atmosphere. Good selection of drinks.
The octopus starter was very good. We also had the crunchy prawn roll which as delicious. We had the HankI box with salmon teriyaki it was a very large piece of fish. We shared all 3 dishes and both had plenty to eat.

Service was great and staff super friendly and helpful. We had an array of food, most was outstanding and some okay. Not quite the pre pandemic standard, but a great evening was had, good music, good wine and beer, good food and nice atmosphere. Not overpriced like some other inner city establishment. Looking forward to the next visit.

The place has great ambience and the food is very good however I made a reservation for indoor dining and I was given an outdoor table. Also, the place is popular and gets busy so my food took around 20 min more than the rest of the people at the table.
